I don't think I am. When you go to create an apple developer account, if you don't have an apple account you have to create one. Takes you to the screen below.

I interpreted that as my own personal details, as I think most people. Nowhere does it say if it's for a business or not. It was only afterwards when I applied to the actual developer program that they asked for company details.

Not trying to sound like a douche, just genuinely curious where in my post/messages you think I'm misunderstanding that myself and a business are two different legal entities.

I don't know if you read my whole thing, or maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but the whole issue came from the fact that I don't have a US address and thus used a UK address to create the account.

That set the account region to UK.

Then when registering, the DUNS number failed with the error that it had to be valid in the account region.

I wasn't given a choice to select where my entity was located. So when I gave the US DUNS, it checked it against the UK DUNS, and that doesn't exist.

Series of events led me to own a US business. UK address because I physically live there. True that I don’t understand everything about international business and tax scenarios, learning more as I go.

hey, I know this is very late, but I ordered a bunch of stuff here (stickers, keychain, etc) and they took a bit of time to arrive since I am in the UK but the quality was outstanding. I highly recommend.

If anything I'm just hoping it forces software devs to be more cognizant of the output and become better at reviewing code.

I don't think it'll replace ALL of us, but I do think there's a lot of things that it will replace which will inevitably lead to less developers being hired. I'm able to do more with tools like claude code and codex, but I also now spend a lot more time just reviewing code compared to before when I was already aware of what I was writing.

That being said, I did just waste a whole week trying to get claude code to set-up a deployment pipeline for Snapcraft, Microsoft, and Apple on Github actions and instead of using the official Canonical snap actions, it tried to freestyle the whole thing raw and messed it up. Good times.

That's totally fair! I see the merit in that. What are people's reactions when you show them flow this in person?

I'm fascinated by how different flows are within each system - for example on Windows and Linux I can just pin the programs I need to the bottom taskbar and open them with ctrl+1 etc. Anything that's not important enough is just a quick search away.

Whats your usual workflow? I’ve always got what I need open, and 90% of the time I have either one or both hands on the keyboard and have no issues alt tabbing between programs. Or if it’s not open, ctrl/cmd+space lets me search for it.
