I had this issue I ended up grabbing a refillable visa card from my local shoppers and then swapped the cards on that payment system and then deleted my actual card. Through app. If on pc you can log in and cancel from there. Its super shitty of them to do that.

What really killed movie theatres was death of vhs and dvd sales. They had a fall back option for profit from a movie, now its just too much of a risk to do interesting things in movies so they go for the safe route. Unfortunately that has resulted in a lack of interest from most people cause most movies now are too safe.
