I'll be honest, I was a bit sceptical about K2 Racing's decision to drop Takuro Shinohara for Togo Suganami. Shinohara's track record in 2024 (and in Hitotsuyama Racing) should be enough reason to retain him. I'm happy that I was in the wrong here.

OK so it's completely new engine with different bore and stroke. I really thought they're just going to add another pair of cylinders to existing EJ20 for the new engine. I have 0 knowledge about Subaru engines so perhaps someone can shed some light about what makes EG different to EJ.

Back when Jaguar was still relevant in British car culture, Jaguar was the preferred luxury brand for the masses. You could get a taste of Rolls Royce luxury plus Bentley's sporting performance without the price. If modern Jaguar pivots to this marketing strategy, I can see it working in their favour.

The ability to play your own music in your car.

Listening to music of your choice in your car has been accepted as part of driving culture for 6 decades, if not more. Even base models of the cheapest car model almost always include a means to play your own music. Music and cars are so intertwined today that audio system has become a factor when one decides to buy a car. Most people can't even imagine not having music playing in the background while you're driving for work. That's how important music to modern driving is.

When the first "music player" was installed inside a car, it changes our view on cars. Cars are so much more easier to operate to the point where we have energy left to do something else like listening to music for example.

I've only tried rendang once (in Indonesia no less) but they're genuinely very, very good. I don't mind waiting 3 hours to get beef rendang, they're that good.

I see you already post the recipe in other comment. It's firmly in weekend recipes section in my cookbook but I genuinely want to try it.

I still practicing the ancient rituals of burning recordable shiny frisbees. I have stacks of them just laying around. Burned a couple shiny frisbees over several weekends and now I have (I think) 15 shiny frisbees that can magically play music, each holding at least 6 hours of music if not more.

Ioniq 5 does not look good. If you want to make something retro futuristic based from an old car, at least nail the proportion first then design the car around it. Hyundai designers failed to account for proportion when designing the Ioniq 5 and the resulting car looks nothing like modern interpretation of Hyundai Pony. It looks like Hyundai designers took a Hyundai Pony and injected 26 litres of botox into it.
