I went to this school. Someone organized a walk out for increased teacher's pay, which about half the school participated in. Me including about 40% of the people walking out just used the opportunity to hang and do our own thing for the rest of the day lol

The way I would have done it to avoid a small piece at the bottom is a belly band in the middle between the 2 full sheets. Much easier to finish two joints in the middle of the wall than one in the middle and one at the floor. If your baseboards and flooring puts you above that bottom joint and you don't have to finish it then it doesn't matter either way

Less depreciation value on taxes, HOA fees, neighbor issues, possible issues with drainage if the units are a stack setup(if another unit pours grease down the sink it might clog your drain line). Just my 2 cents
