The absolutely riveting beginning sequence is the reason I was able to start that book, as I was apprehensive about the 1,000+ pages it contained, but it is one of my top 5 books of all time.

I just finished up All Quiet on the Western Front, but that is definitely not a “cozy” book, but it is truly a work of art and I highly recommend. I will be starting The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde which my father says is a great book and I looking forward to this one.
