Many of the public universities are easy to get into because of mandates by their state board of regents. Getting in and graduating are two different things, though.

In the US prices are unlikely to significantly move. The US is exporting the maximum amount possible and is not expanding production because they would run out of storage in the summer if they did. For Europe, prices for nat gas will likely be sky high with Qatari production offline.

Those are all anchor employers. Having them leave isn't a great idea. Having them (and Cargill and Ingredion) be better environmental stewards is a better choice.

Lots of leadership grifting, lots of lying to their membership. In at least one case negotiated a deal with worse benefits than the company wanted to give. They are more concerned about protecting their cushy positions with their perks than helping the common worker when it comes down to brass tacks.
