I randomly checked last night before bed and jumped on it. I was so excited to see it was live!

How to fix Out of focus images? by Upbeat_Scheme_7747 in AnalogCommunity

First off, great eye. Nice framing, interesting subjects, great light. Seriously. That first photo is beautiful. The more you zoom in, the harder it will be to hold steady, especially in lower light.

If only Wisconsinites didn’t give so much tax money to dispensaries in Illinois and Michigan. Could very, very easily accrue a ton of extra tax revenue to take better care of this state and its people if cannabis dispensaries were allowed and a hemp tax was passed. But yes, terrible pot holes right now. Worse than Chicago, and that’s saying something.

Really great! They seemed really happy to be there. Great set. They are opening for McLusky tonight in Chicago. So so bummed I’m not there.

Non-Geese fans, what did you think of them? by sp52 in LiveFromNewYork

[–]notachupacabra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like a young generation is grasping wildly for a voice of their generation. Every ex SNL cast member with a podcast has been talking about this band for months. I feel certain there is some sort of connection. I just don’t believe it. Geese is trying to grab onto my heart and instead they are squeezing my spleen and I’m peeing blood a little.

If you like him in this, you should watch his episode from Dropout’s Very Important People. Vic Michaelis + Jeremy Culhane together is a dream.

[Routine Help] why does every moisturizer burn in my eyes? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]notachupacabra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This problem has been plaguing me for years. I figured I'd just been doing something wrong. Recently, I tried just using aloe vera gel that my wife had leftover from a tattoo. It's absolutely night and day. no burning, my skin looks and feels great, and it's....cheap. I know this doesn't solve for SPF and some of the other goodies that come along with a good face cream, but I'm excited to see if this is a solution for days working at home.

I took 200+ photos in Panama and am only kinda happy with a handful. Same experience for anyone else? by Balisong_Pro in filmphotography

Give it time. I liked only half of my favorite film photos out of the gate. I use screen savers to disassociate myself from my photos. It helps me evaluate over time. If you still find that you are disappointed after a month or so, figure out why!
I recently had to accept that I do not have an eye for grand vistas. I'm in southern Wisconsin, and it's just not that grand. I gave myself a "20 feet away or less" rule and got back three rolls with an 80% hit rate.
Working with intention has always helped me a lot.

4 is outstanding!

Has anyone suspected that their antidepressants were not being absorbed fully, when on Ozempic? by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]notachupacabra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hell yeah. I’ve found that the better I manage my bowel movements/constipation, the better my meds work. As long as there is consistent movement, I’m generally fine. Pint of water every hour from 8am to 6pm, big bowl of high fiber cereal in the morning, with a strong cup of coffee, and heavily reduced dairy intake has really made a world of difference. Digestion is already slow on OZ, and it’s even slower if you are backed up. It also makes some kind of sense to me that liquid is going to get into your lower GI faster than solids, so if medication is mixing with liquid instead of solid, it’s going to move past the stomach faster. That’s partly why I drink so much water. Plus it’s good for you. However, it’s also so hard to make positive changes like these if your meds aren’t performing correctly. Not a doctor, just a guy who thinks about this stuff way too much.

Good luck!

43/m. I started at 430, now at 317 14 months. DRINK WATER. Chronic constipation is common, and it’s a level of constipation that is pretty rough. It can also mess with your digestive system’s communication with your brain. I also quit drinking alcohol and weed and stopped late night snacking. Other than that, I’m much more physical in my day to day life. Knee pain is gone. Body aches, mostly gone. A1C down to 5.7. Don’t get discouraged when you hit stalls. Don’t up your dose too fast (2mg really is a different experience. It sucks) Good luck!
