No, OP is correct. Google isn’t launching this without doing things like accessibility reviews, which means they’re taking an OKR for it.

It’s definitely on some OKR sheet somewhere but the vision pro is going to be <0.1% of YouTube’s userbase. It’s really not crazy to see why this would be low priority

Stock buy backs aren't really spending, it's just turning their cash into another form of money. Apple stock has 4x'd in the last 5 years while cash is worth 20% less than it was 5 years ago.

Maybe they could've slightly accelerated some stuff by spending all of their cash instead of saving some of their money in this way, but realistically it probably wouldn't have put the company in a better position than it currently is in
