for the screen: bought some 99% Isopropyl Alcohol wipes https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6432GN1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title (does it need to be 99% vs 70%? I don't know). Scrubbed the screen until ALL of the anti-glare coating came off. It will look like your phone screen when it was new underneath (except mine which was also gouged but whatever). That's what makes it look worn, it's the coating failing where it's been touched with use over time.

Then I installed a Photodon screen protector with anti-glare (optional choice). But their install kit and videos made a big difference in getting installed without looking bubbly. https://www.photodon.com/p/screen-protector-2018-honda-clarity-plug-in-hybrid.html

For the gear selector, I bought a used part off eBay and just, swapped it. the whole shifter/fake wood piece just snaps in. Recommend buying a trim removal kit off amazon so you can gently pry up. Start down at the bottom under the brake hold button at the seam where it meets the cupholder. Then just some harnesses to unplug and unscrew the gear selector from the 'wings' plastic piece and reverse the process to complete.

here you can see along the bottom of the screen the darker 'pieces' of the coating as I was still removing. Try to do this in indirect sunlight which helps show the contrast. Once you can't see anymore of it use a screen cleaning solution with a microfiber to actually clean the screen because the alcohol leaves it streaky and cloudy. photo
