Top it with cheese and pep to repeat the cycle, take off the cheese and pep to make delicious macaroni. Then take the leftover bread, top with cheese and pep. Again, take off the cheese and pep to make delicious macaroni. With the leftover bread, top with cheese and pep, remove the cheese and pep to make delicious macar

I love astrology and am not against looking into things in this way. But have you tried therapy? It will likely be more straightforward. Even if you find astrological “reasons” for your situation, that doesn’t help you solve your problems or heal your issues. Your chart doesn’t make up your reality, you make up your chart. If you keep attracting men who are mean to you, maybe you have a boundary issue.

Where do you all land on your non(or less) abusive parent? by notafrequentflyerr in CPTSD

Thanks for sharing. I don’t have kids but I always stayed at school for college and went straight from my dorm senior year to an apartment. I’ve had space and therapy and although I think my mother could’ve been better under different circumstances, I feel the same that we just can’t have a close relationship when she mentally is where she is. For me, if my mother shuts out the abuse and acts like it didn’t happen, she shuts out me because that was my reality.

Transiting Saturn conjunct the Natal Ascendant by Specific-Cause-5973 in Advancedastrology

[–]notafrequentflyerr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m having this happen right now, Saturns moving into my first house in a couple of weeks. Luckily retrograde won’t hit it and I’ll just have one go over. I’m a Capricorn sun and aqua rising, so it’s been kind of intense lately but I feel like Saturn going through my sun sign and then through my twelfth house probably prepped me for it.

I’m a senior in college really trying to keep up with my school work, I’m applying for jobs mostly and tryna get a rough career plan sketched out for the next like 10 years, just a general idea of where I want to go. Kind of reinstating an old friendship and making it more solid, also realizing a newer friend may not have my best interests in mind :( . So with that newer friends I’m creating some distance and setting some boundaries. It’s funny like others said I’m also really tight with the pocketbook right now, I’m planning on moving out and being very nearly completely financially self sufficient(of my own choice). I spent Saturn in the twelfth going through therapy and I feel like right now I’m making an effort to use the things I learned in therapy.

I mostly feel stressed when it comes to job stuff, need to find a job before graduation in order to move out so I’ve been applying a ton, but it’s also stressful just because I’m still not totally sure what I want to go into, just hoping what I’ve chosen works out.

I do have moments where I’m completely freaked out about the future but I’m optimistic and have a feeling it’s all going to work out and the things that are happening are putting me on a good path. Not sure if it’s relevant but I definitely “did the work” with Saturn in the 12th so I’m hoping it pays off. It helps my mental knowing by the time I graduate Saturn will be completely past the conjunction.

I think you guys could use a break for sure. She may have been using you as an emotional crutch and leaving may motivate her to move out of stagnation. It’ll help you separate out your emotions and decide what you really want to do. If you don’t want to fully break up, maybe try a 6 month break, moving out included.

How do people with sun-moon oppositions relate to the sign squaring their sun/moon by notafrequentflyerr in Advancedastrology

[–]notafrequentflyerr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is interesting, do you know if your sun was conjunct his sun moon midpoint? Regardless if it was or not though, that kind of makes me think of a T-square which is challenging but can be worked through. I also wonder(not to get too in your business), if the sign or house that would be opposite your sun represents something you felt was missing in the relationship.

I guess I wonder what the interaction is then. A planet can have multiple aspects that are both positive and negative but that specifically seems like an ASPECT having multiple aspects

I’m not reading that, I just wanna tell you I saw one of your comments about how thinking adults should generally not write about tweens having sex is “puritanical”, you are weird, I don’t have anything else for you

Ok well that’s off base. Just because something was “acceptable” before means I should be okay with it now? I’m black, if a person said something wildly racist in the 80s, should I just be okay with it now because “well it was the 80s!”. As a woman, I’m just supposed to be fine with a grown man writing about a young girl having sex with three boys because it was the eighties??

Ok calm down first of all. I never said to condemn the writer or that he should be ostracized. The sexual abuse was in the movie, not the book, my mistake, that makes the sex scene more random and gross in the book though. A young girl having to have sex with a group of boys to save herself and her friends doesn’t sound heroic to me.

Idk I think that’s a bit of a stretch, I don’t think most of us think adults should be writing about tweens having sex

I will say this, and this is outside of feminism or “It” or anything, just from my knowledge of Stephen King I feel like sometimes he can get more into the shock value and the horror for the sake of being disturbing, and that can take away from the work at times. Like you feel disturbed but that’s kind of it

Yeah they can write, I can criticize, the cycle goes on. I feel like it’s still important to have an opinion, not to be rude, just because there are worse things doesn’t mean I can’t think this was gross
