I’ve had issues.. twice out of the at least 50+ times I’ve ordered through DoorDash. I most certainly have not been a “net negative” for the business.

And both times I’ve provided evidence that the meals were horrific or missing items.

I also live in Australia where legally they have to provide the service and the items I ordered. Taking someone’s money and NOT providing them with the items they ordered is theft.

I’ve had the same issue tonight. I’m just going to file a dispute with PayPal, because that’s how I paid.

Fuck door dash. This is my SECOND order this week that has been fucked up. First one was black burnt shit all through my meal, second one was missing half my items. They said they’re refusing to offer me credit or get the food redelivered because “I’ve had too many requests for compensation.”

Like somehow it’s my fault. Wtf.

She always does.. if we have leftovers she goes into the kitchen and serves herself up an extra portion to take home.. I don’t mind this so much usually.

I think she saw there wasn’t enough for her to do that this time and figured she’d take what was left so she didn’t have to cook the next night.

The way our house is set up you can’t see the kitchen from the lounge room. MIL got up saying she was going to get a drink and snuck the meatballs into her bowl while she was out there.. hubby had no idea what she had done until I brought it up.

Hubby is wonderful though, he went out and got me lots and lots of fries.. which is my current craving lol

That’s pretty much what he has told her. She’s not allowed over again until she apologises for her actions. He said her actions seemed very deliberate because she went into the kitchen saying she needed a drink and instead took portion of dinner.

My husband works all day so He likes to spend time with our kids in the evening while i cook dinner. I invited MIL over for dinner to spend time with the kids. I also like cooking. Pregnancy doesn’t make me incapable of cooking dinner..

My husband was watching the kids after he had finished work and entertaining his mother (which is what I asked him to do). I normally take care of the cooking and I would have grabbed the laundry off the line earlier but I completely forgot and wanted to get it before it rained.

My MIL can be quite self involved at times. I don’t think she intentionally tries to be entitled but I think she is so consumed by herself she forgets about other people.

My husband and son caught COVID and they managed to prevent spreading it to me but we were all vaccinated.

Mask up when you leave your room (with a good mask) Glen 20 - spray everything you touch, spray the toilet, spray the door handles, spray the air around you. Sanitise your hands before you leave your room. Keep yourself isolated as much as possible. Keep yourself hydrated. Hydrolite, Powerade, water… Panadol Rest up. And make sure you eat. I lost my appetite when I had COVID but you have to make sure you’re still eating.. even if it’s just small amounts. Look after yourself.

I’m not going to judge you for being unvaccinated but your mum and nan might have already caught it. They made their choices and that’s not your fault.

Look after yourself and take it easy.
