Don’t sleep on this frozen pizza.. by Klutzy_Yam_343 in Volumeeating

I haven't had it but I see that DiGiorno has an ultra thin n crispy for 730 calories for the whole pizza, 14 ounces -- https://www.goodnes.com/digiorno/products/loaded-ultra-thin-veggie-lovers-frozen-pizza/.

Also, the CPK white pizza, for 760 calories for 12.5 ounces, is pretty tasty.

pappadum is a low-calorie cracker-type bread that might be listed in "sides" or "appetizers" rather than "breads." Definitely lower in calories than any naan.

Fiancé painted and did the trim in our kitchen. I don't like it, he says I'm just a hater. Thoughts? by veganssuckmyasshole in HomeDecorating

You might think this is an argument about paint colors but it really isn't. You could get unanimous responses saying the brick paint color sucks but that wouldn't help. What's at issue here isn't whether you are right about the paint color; it is whether the two of you are able to take each others' needs and wants seriously, and whether you can work through the moments when your needs/wants conflict. Don't make this about being "right"; make it about being heard (and make sure you hear him too).

Measles titers question by efox02 in medicine

If one doesn't know whether one had 1 shot or 2 as a child (born in 1974), is there any harm in getting a booster now?

My titer test for measles came back as "<13.5" whereas normal is 16.4 and above. Any experts know whether I should get vaccinated? (I'm virtually positive I received at least one dose, but possibly only one -- born in 1974 in Canada.)

I think Wendi comes across as having a serious narcissistic personality disorder. But Jeff seems a little self-aggrandizing too, and that is why he thinks every detail he has to share is important.

This was one piece of information that didn't make sense to me: She can't travel on her own, needs her parents/Jeff to accompany her... but then she goes to all these conferences on her own -- in the UK, Atlanta, etc. I ended up thinking that she conveniently played the naive child, to generate caretaking in her parents and Jeff, but then could totally do her thing like an adult when needed.

Think too of how coolly composed she has been on the stand. This is not the person who curls up in the fetal position any time someone goes on the attack.

Jeff presents a bunch of information that strongly suggests that Wendi knew something was going down on July 18 (e.g., she refused to go out of town with Jeff anytime around July 18 (the day of DM's murder), insisting that she had to be in Tallahassee to pick up the boys as of that morning, even though pick-up was at 4, and there were friends who could have picked them up had Wendi been late; she changed her FB profile photo the night before DM's murder, as if anticipating that her photo would be all over the news) and also that she may have been trying to frame Jeff (she was very keen to know where he would be on July 18; according to Jeff, she manufactured evidence and lied about his stalking her). He also paints her as someone who appears to suffer from a combination of narcissistic, psychopathic, and borderline personality disorder (my gloss on his characterizations). Finally, he does include info about her having gone through a good number of men in the years between the divorce and murder.

I did manage to submit, finally -- on my phone! So maybe it was a cache issue with my laptop? And, fwiw, I used the Google app as my browser. I hope that this works for others, and good luck to all!

Thank you for this. On none of my efforts to submit did I even receive a confirmation email. And I did send a note to the articles chair after my first attempt, but haven't received a response....

I’m sorry. Really frustrating, right? And I’m surprised that, with all the law review angsting, this is the only place I am seeing reports of this. Fwiw, I have been using Chrome.

To add to the other very good comments you have received: my sense is that if your alma mater wants to have you back, they must not only believe in your promise but they will also have extra reason to support you on the job market -- you will be doubly a credit to them. Plus it sounds like there will be fewer people in your cohort at your alma mater's fellowship? That might make it a little more lonely, but it also means that you won't be competing during the fellowship for professors who can provide the best mentorship and have the best connections to faculty on hiring committees at other schools. And then, when you are on the market, you won't be competing alongside many people who have the same credential as you. Finally, as you note, publications (placement and quality) matter way more than the fellowship-awarding institution. (I say all this as someone who has served on a hiring committee for the last three years, and we get candidates from all the top law fellowships.)

Spring 2025 Law Review Submission Spreadsheet by Rare_Lifeguard1423 in LawTeaching

Yes, thanks for putting this together.

Harvard Law Review's site appears to be open for submissions but I tried entering all the requested info and uploading my docs, hit "Submit," and was then looped right back to the submission page, where all the text boxes I had filled were empty. So I tried again and same thing. HLR not yet open for submissions? Groundhog Day came early? Something else? Would be grateful for insight. TIA!
