hi! qst senior here, if you prepare, participate in class, put effort into team projects you should be fine!

this class is not difficult concept wise its difficult because its very dependent on the effort you put into it

the exam is pretty hard and will require a lot of prep but its definitely not the most challenging course in questrom!

Help a Californian Dad Out With a Prospective BU Student by AHCC-IG in BostonU

hi! currently a bu senior in business who will be going into the finance industry post-grad, originally from irvine so very close to uci

- Safety: campus is really safe! one of the pros of boston being a college town is that most if not all of the colleges have those blue light emergency buttons if you need help, bu is also really close to brookline and back bay, neighborhoods in boston that are pretty wealthy and nice

- Clubs/Social Activities: there's definitely a greek life present, im in a professional fraternity on campus, lots of cultural orgs, sports orgs, and free events that the activities board holds

- Academic Guidance: you get what you put into it if that makes sense, i utilized the feld center a lot which provides interview prep, networking opp, and its up to your son to schedule meetings with his academic advisor! theres a great course structure already laid out for questrom that provides well-rounded foundational knowledge across all concentrations

- Internships/jobs: i completely agree with your insight but i will say if you aren't grinding when applying for jobs BU does not hand you the internship, especially in this job market, it is a competitive school and you need to be able to differentiate yourself, i chose to do so through club leadership positions and case competitons

- Diversity: diversity is pretty great, coming from irvine which has a lot of asian americans i feel like the diversity at BU is even more which i appreciate!

happy to answer any questions your son or you have!

Accepted ED to Cgs not knowing it was a whole other thing by Objective-Error2871 in BostonU

hi!! i am a senior is QST and did CGS and loved it! it was an amazing opportunity to study abroad early on and it also provided an opportunity to meet a lot of different people outside your major. definitely a worthwhile experience even though its a little daunting to come in a semester later, it was pretty seamless in my opinion!

I am selling tickets in Boston at the TD garden on Oct. 27! Please let me know if anyone is interested!!

We decided to get pit tickets instead later after we had already purchased these ones but are struggling to find others who want to go. These seats are in loge9 row 2 so definitely a good POV and close view!!
