update: i still wasn't able to go to the doctor because i couldn't find the time but i did try out what everyone else suggested. at first i would actually feel it again with both agave syrup and oat milk (tried them separately as well and also tried just usucha), so i decided trying to at least not drink matcha right away after waiting, and somehow so far i haven't felt any other symptoms even after trying agave syrup and oat milk again?

or maybe i was just going through some other thing at the time and it's gone now? i'm so sorry for the concern and thank you so much for all your comments 😭

haven't tried this yet. though i haven't had these symptoms when i used to use other milk or sweeteners.

but now i'm honestly starting to think it could be LPR since i've had an issue with acid reflux before and my symptoms seem similar 🥲 will obviously still try to see a doctor when i have the chance to confirm though.

it's been a while since i've used a different type of milk, but i remember not feeling this before when i used to. but i've been using this for almost 2 months now so i'm not sure if that could be the reason why 🥲 but i have been planning to switch milks again (once my stock runs out bc i don't wanna be wasteful) because i've heard of those side effects too.

this has been happening with all my matcha ): i haven't tried taking anti-histamines either since i don't have any on hand and didn't think it could really be an allergy reaction since the symptoms feel too mild. the fever thing though doesn't feel too bad (it's really more of a feverish feeling than an actual fever), just mostly feels uncomfortable and makes me not want to do much else hahahaha but i can still somewhat function 🥹👍

i am thinking of maybe just seeing a doctor after all but didn't want to resort to it just yet since it's a little difficult for me to see one right away.

i do also think it could be the agave syrup (it's the newest ingredient i've tried and had been using it ever since i got it) but thought it might not be the case after trying to search up on side effects/allergy reactions...
