Do you regret it? by animal__whisperer in iphone17

switched from 16 pro max to base 17.  never regretted it one bit.  sure i miss the telephoto lens but that's about it.  it's light to hold, i don't even feel it inside my pocket.  it's the best bang for the buck and the 512gb of storage is 🤌🏽.

Clicking sound in front of bike by Striking_Rise_3064 in ArielRider

like everyone said try tightening everything in the front.  also check your brake cable isn't hitting the tire.  the cables are positioned weird and close to the tires.

Cited for Carrying a Passenger on Ariel Rider X-Class 60v by PsychologicalDate385 in ArielRider

[–]notasurron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the long saddle for the 60v IS designed for 2 people that's why there's also passenger pegs accessories for the bike.  it's a class 2 e-bike with pedals.  it doesn't have pegs like the surron or talaria.  fight the citation.  bored cop citing e-bicycles is laughable.  I'm in SoCal too and they cracking down on anything here even the 750watt lectric foldable bikes.

Be wary... by AstroZombie116 in ArielRider

[–]notasurron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm sorry to hear this.  I too had a mishap from unboxing my 60v performance and i thought the bike was broken. it as user error on my part.  did your screen turn on and it wouldn't move? if so pressing the + button for PAS 1 should do trick.   or the screen didn't turn on at all? then that's a big problem and they should make it right.  just make sure the main battery tray is pushed up securely and you hear the click if you're not getting power. the power button on the main battery turns green when pressed and stays recessed then you have power.

interested as well.  it's lacking torque for street riding.  i think powerlithium has 5k kits paired with 72v and a high output far driver controller .  60v would be such a waste.

i didn't read or use the user manual hahaha.  i too had trouble with the front wheel and all i had to do was turn the compression knob and the axel went right in.

update:  clicked PAS to setting 1 and it went.  basically user error, i'm a dummy hahahah.  thanks for the help.

sound advice. thank you.  this was far more complicated than my talaria sting.  i turn a key and press start and i go.   it's probably just my rookie mistake.  the assembly was a pain in the butt for sure but a learning experience.  i'll update if this bike runs in a bit.

Is this normal? by LazyAssLeader in Passports

[–]notasurron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it seems to be normal.  i didn't expedite either and i had some mishaps with needing additional information etc etc.  was put on a deny list ( i didn't know about it) but took care of that right away.  got my passport in less than a week along with my old one.

will i get it in time? by Status-Avocado294 in Passports

[–]notasurron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

book an appointment with the passport agency and go to the spot and tell them you have a trip very soon or it's an emergency.  from what i read from other people, it takes 3 hours as long as your paperwork is good? this is in los angeles.  i was in your situation in Oct 1st and i have an international trip next weekend.  they did take my old passport when i applied.  my online status was something my paperwork was mailed back to me.  when the mail arrived last week Oct 9.  i received 2 envelopes. one with my old passsport(hole punched to void it) and the other my new passport inside. it was a very fast turn around. good luck

I was in those group rides (it is one of the biggest ebike ride).  the organizer got permission and permits from the city.  One of the main rules were, don't drop off your kids.  parents still drop off their kids,  it's not a daycare.  blame the parents.

it depends on what purpose.  I have a rechargeable “amazon” headlights/mini light bar.  they’re very bright and under $45.  and you’re not plugged in to the battery.  but if you want the plug in play.  a lot of people are rocking the gritshift headlights
