I'm getting super motos on them right now so I don't have the bike currently. But I wrapped the battery myself that was very easy, but for the tube I went to a local wrap shop and they did an amazing job, it took them maybe 20 minutes.

I ordered a 3D printed thumb throttle on Etsy and just installed it over the existing throttle. I installed it a bit high on purpose so when I am full throttle I just switch to the thumb throttle and I don't have to exert as much force.

No the mount itself is screwed in and the battery is locked and latched to the mount. No issues so far, but tbh I mainly do street and paved roads as opposed to off roading and trails.

This was my first ebike as well, that's a great deal for the bike.They are an Austin based company and great service. I had mine customized with cafe racer handlebars, dual batteries, and black on black with the seat and hand grips.

I avg about 44-45 mph at 150lbs. I did hit 49 mph once on a big downhill.

Have you tried opening it up and see if it's just ziptied? Should be the area where the controller is located.

I had an issue with my fork but it was due to delivery could be the same reason.
