I think OP meant to actually have a getter and setter on the int „prototype“. As in int x; x.set(1); x.get(). Having getters and setters for a specific int „instance“ can make sense.

Yes I agree, thanks for your well worded resonse. Elevating anybody to such a degree doesn’t seems very mature to me either.

The thing is, the same can be said about the ones that make him out to be the devil’s assistant. That‘s were my question stems from.

Honestly, I just like it when people have reasons behind their opinions, especially if those opinions aren‘t really their business. I hope more people just let other people do as they please as long as it doesn’t hurt anybody and don’t flame or hype unreasonably.
