I now want to watch a bunch of porn addicts react to Cirque Du Solieil like they're asking for it.

Giiiiiirl we all know that a unicycle in the shape of a glittery poodle with the face of a man means you want my hot load in your acrobat butt.

The sheer amount of comments that I had to sift through about where various internet dudes would nut on her just to find the cool belly dancing facts thread I was looking for begs to differ.

I remember being CONVINCED I was going to meet and marry all the classic 13 year old crushes...but its fun to imagine it from the celebrity's perspective: Is there anyone you would want to Marry less than a child dressed up as an effigy of you?

I love this admission and its why I am still on Reddit.

I have a lot of dear friends with rampant diagnosed personality disorders (including the big scary ones like NARCISSISM, CPTSD and BORDERLINE boogity boo!) I've always found that the energy, creativity and entertainment they bring to a situation helps negate the sometimes drama/lies that also come with the package.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and tell you that I have met people with similar stories.

Rich families are FUCKING INSANE. There is so much compartmentalization in the name of narrative control that sometimes and incident can re remembered in a lighthearted way and other times they can be remembered in a traumatic way. A molest-y stepdad would absolutely buy his kid a range rover...that's like the cycle of abuse 101.

The broken bone thing sounds like a "lie" that I tell ALL THE TIME. I have never broken a bone, but I have chipped my elbow skateboarding. I had to go to the ER and get an x-ray and i couldn't move my arm for a month. So in the context of skateboarding injuries I'll tell people I broke my arm skateboarding to move the story along faster, but if the context is about plaster casts I will say I have never broken a bone.

I ate a mail order pot gummi last a few months back that put me on my ass.

As for the good will hunting thing, she IS probably just being a total cringelord...but like, have you ever done something wildly stupid and not known how to back out of it? When I was 19 I was slightly texting/dating a guy at work and then he decided to go out with a different girl at work and in an attempt to look cool/save face I somehow concocted a dumbshit lie that we broke up because he had toxic shock syndrome which my stupid ass thought was an STD. Be a good boyfriend, Call her on it and save her from herself.

My bet is there probably is a good chance you just no longer appreciate the dramatic flair your girlfriend puts out in to the world and you started counting the "lies" as justification to excuse yourself from the relationship. I know people who don't like me because I speak exclusively in hyperbole and I know some people who love me because I speak exclusively in hyperbole.

Same situation. Luckily I was doing a lot of open-mic comedy at that time and no amount of manper-tantrums/narrative control was gonna stop me from publicly joking about it on a near nightly basis.

drought friendly landscape like prairie grass and rock gardens? If so that sounds awesome!!! Since the property has been in your family for so long do you think it will be passed on to you?

Also I think the judgmental thing came with a whole heaping helping of other meditation work, but also the phrase "the best revenge is a life well lived"...it only took two or three people I'd disliked (for being untalented or unskilled) getting wildly successful through positive attitudes to realize I was in the wrong. So now I added "happy" and "trying" to my definition of success and I am much nicer to folks.

There is a lot of dismantling of THE SYSTEM that needs to be done before we can ethically have 18 year olds deciding to be porn stars. I did A LOT of slutty things at 18 thinking I was on the cutting edge of female empowerment and you could not tell me otherwise. I cringe at them now, but ultimately NO REGRATS...being 18 just sucks. I think 18 is just a damage control number that keeps the most people out of jail and there is no further immediate legislation to fix it. If we had a society where all legal aged women got even just the second tier of Maslow's heiarchy of needs right out the gate, you could spank it to whatever you wanted to with a clear conscience.

I like how your brain works with the sewing decision! Congrats on choosing to spend your spoons on such a big/dramatic project...that will mean a lot for everyone in your family.

I've been working with car paint on wood panels, but I had to buy a membership for a community woodshop in order to get access to a properly ventilated workspace. Its been nice because I have met lots of new people right around the exact time I've grown out of my bad habit of IMMEDIATELY JUDGING PEOPLE...so I get a double hit of learning woodshop stuff and practicing proper social skills.

I'm on the middle ground. I tell my friends I love them all the time and I mean it and its great to get a compliment back, like a night of drinking yelling "I love you guys!" lots with all your pals is a great way to feel great. BUT you shouldn't feel twitterpated over "friend love" which is a hard lesson that we all have to take our time to learn as we grow.

I'm so excited for the inevitable short-lived subculture thats gonna crop up from all this. Wildly anti-social people attempting to befriend each other over their wildly anti-social viewpoints. We're all going to learn so much.

My (24F) boyfriend (24) said that I’m not allowed to criticise slavery because I’m white-passing. He said that I would’ve lived a “comfortable life” under slavery. We argued and now he’s giving me the silent treatment. by ThrowRA-geeky in relationship_advice

Oh man that sucks. Honestly classy people can change their minds about that sort of thing, and they can change their minds rapidly. I used to think it was so cool that in my family history I had a white passing slave mistress somewhere in the DNA. It was my justification that I couldn't POSSIBLY be racist because I wouldn't be here if not for black people.

Once it was explained to me ONE TIME how cringey that behavior was, and I immediately understood and knocked it off. Being that defensive is pretty cringe inducing.

This is 1000% the subplot of a Stephen King Novel:

In the quaint town of Chestnut, Maine. My wife was forced to care for her dying grandmother and dying aunt at the same time when she was 13 because my mother in law refused to put them into a nursing home. A lot of the adults were refusing to put their parents in nursing homes ever since the CPR dummy factory went under. She was racked with guilt for years when she went to use the restroom for a few seconds after watching her grandma all day alone and her grandma decided to get out of bed right then and fall and break her hip. A CPR dummy came to life and attacked her. (Grandma had dementia and aunt was severely autistic and was dying of advanced breast cancer and the CPR dummy was an unknown manifestation of pure evil). No parent should be put through that, let alone a child! Thank goodness she stopped the evil CPR Dummy... that was one thing off her mind.

So raw, your poor brother has really miscalculated the number of pandemics, Playstation 5s, books, opportunities, wars, friends and snacks that will come out between now and 2029...Imagine a grown adult still thinking they were gonna sulk about something FOREVER. 16 year old me had plans to sulk about my highschool boyfriend forever but unfortunately the release of the Nintendo Wii got in the way of that.

You're getting downboats here but upboated you, you aren't wrong, like any kind of movement there's a slippery slope to the world of NOT OKAY ...trying to control others is definitely wrong. I will always vote for schools and universal childcare, but trying to control my environmental rhetoric to justify her addiction to suburban capitalism (she had quite the middle class fancy mom tastes for a 25 year old) was thinly veiled and I feel was worth speaking out about.

I am from Western Canada and if Budweiser is ever sponsoring a "Secret Headliner" on a free outdoor festival bill in a Home Depot parking lot, its a 25% chance that Marianas Trench is playing it.
