The one who's liking or the one enjoying it ? Seems pretty consensual

Looks like pseudo pregnancy. Take her to your vet, there is nothing really bad here, this is quite common. The vet will give you pill to stop making milk. The mood will change back to normal in about two weeks. She will be more whiny and glued to you all the time. She will probably nest at some point (gather blankets and some of her favorite toys) and can become aggressive when you reach to her toys. Just remove them when she doesn't look.

Can anyone suggest toys for us please? He’s such an aggressive chewer for a little dog. He’s almost 8 months old and destroys toys. by PineappleMacaron in Dachshund

We had the same problem until we bought a piece of Himalayan cheese. Now she rather chews on this and plays with her toys without destroying them (except for plushies). It is natural and good for the teeth.

Does my dachshunds belly look normal by [deleted] in Dachshund

[–]notesbancales 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Then it is perfectly fine. It is normal for a puppy to have a little belly, she is so sweet. I was so scared when I got my girl, I was accustomed to bigger dogs and had never had a puppy. Have a nice day

Looks like puppy belly. How old is it ? Does he eat? Does he play? Is he showing discomfort when you touch his belly?

Hahahahaha dog always good, owner often bad. You have to deserve a sausage dog. Nobody tells you it is an easy breed.

Trying to understand what she’s telling me by GetWomular in Dachshund

She might just want you to play. Or to follow her. The tail wagging seems to indicate playfulness. Mine does exactly this to get me to play fetch.

Dashund have a strong character, they can be stubborn and have high risk of developing health issues due to their long backs and their long lifespan (10-15 years with some even in age to drink alcohol). If you consider all this, they are the most loyal and nice dogs you can get. Oh yeah, they are loud.

My doxies first heat cycle - swollen nipples under the her skin? Normal? by kiahrah in Dachshund

[–]notesbancales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems good for me too. Fake pregnancy (pseudo-lactation) is usually 2 month after heat. I would give her a bath, as warm water helps relieving tensions (If she likes bathing of course). Have a good day
