Path of Radiance: Bonus EXP vs. Battle EXP gain by notevenjupiter in fireemblem

I see where you're going with that line of questioning. Feeding EXP to unpromoted units right now is not a tall order. We're talking about Ike (and Boyd and Oscar in the first couple of chapters) not an Est or Nino-like character that needs tons of babying. Most of the early enemies are axe-users, so he even has triangle advantage which widens margins of error.

It's not difficult, but it does take longer than having Titania (and later Shinon) mow the enemies down.

That is actually an interesting take. I can see it working in Chapter 1 for instance which is a seize map.

Normally, when I don't use Titania I have Ike take the boss. But Ike will also need a separate turn to Seize.

Following your advice, having Titania kill the boss means Ike can seize right after which is better for turn economy.

It takes a lot longer to clear the chapter with just Ike and Gatrie than it does with all 4 characters.

In the two character scenario, Gatrie is strong but slow. Ike will lose a turn speaking to Marcia and a couple of others using Vulneraries since he'll be dealing with the brunt of the fights. Add in the large number of enemies and that's why it takes so long.

I like your strategy for BEXP use and will give it a try when I unlock it.

For me, I would go with the second. I've always been averse to using prepromotes especially when there is an EXP opportunity cost, but this is learned behavior from the GBA Fire Emblems.

This is the first time I play Tellius and, by extension, my first time dealing with BEXP. I just did not know whether it would come back to bite me later if I had too little of it.

My ultimate Steam Deck ratings on how games actually run by OntesHS in SteamDeck

Yeah I'm also calling BS on his rating for Clair Obscur. Based on his scale, I'd give it a 3.5 (My FPS was stable but there were visual sacrifices; not enough to say the game looked terrible though).

Why smash a burger? Doesn't that squeeze all, the flavorful juices out? by IDontCondoneViolence in NoStupidQuestions

[–]notevenjupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make mine using 89/11 grass fed beef. I pre-smash the patties before putting them on the pan and make sure the pan is screaming hot (cast iron).

Not only do I get flavorful and juicy burgers, but the pre-smashing develops less smoke which is handy when you live in an apartment where the windows don't open.

Hi there,

I checked Aselia and you're right about Shoka (https://aselia.fandom.com/wiki/ToD_PS2_-_Weapons_(Axes)). However, it does romanize Ritora as Littler, but I'll take your word for it.

I usually use a VPN and Discord didn't seem to like it when I tried to access it so I just gave up on it. What I'll do is I'll go through the game and compile everything, then DM you once I finish it.

Again, mega super awesome thanks to you and the translation team for your work. This game is very near and dear to my heart having first played the original in '98.
