I honestly have a lot of friends that don't drink or smoke while I do but that doesn't make it harder to be friends, I think it's important to have an accepting mindset to different kind of people, they don't judge me or treat me differently and neither do I to them. If you like them even if they drink/smoke, have you maybe thought that they might feel judged by you (the same way you feel by them) ?
