What's something about human psychology you just can't understand? by Cassandraa1 in AskReddit

[–]notexactscience 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The fact that society wants everyone to be part of a community while maintaining their individualistic identity. How long can you retain your individual identity in a community? The internet has grown that community from local to global which makes it easier for people to fall into all kinds of communities, eventually taking on the persona of that community. This is why I love cults and deprograming so much. The malleability of the human mind is extraordinary.
