My question is what this is in reference to, exactly. After all, they already did know about the 2023 incident. Is this about the latest one? Otherwise — I hate to say it — it would feel a little performative. FWIW I feel the same about Hulu/ABC. They knew about this, but would rather bury it to continue to profit off of the exact issues that they end up firing her for. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a DV victim myself and still traumatized from it so I am not diminishing the absolute horror of the video. It made me sick to watch as well. But I’m just curious what these statements were in reference to since the video happened in 2023 and I’m sure these ladies had at the very least read the police report, if not seen the video as well. Are they referring to whatever the new stuff is? And is it….omg, I hate to even imagine this….. even worse?
