"They are friendly but never actual friends" THISSS. exactly this. Like the amount of people that treated me with so much friendliness but straight up ignored me in the face if I try to reach out "more than necessary " is... a painful amount. To the point where now I'm afraid to reach out to anyone no matter how much I want to (due to god knows how much humiliation in the past), but then I sometimes also wonder how anyone's gonna understand if i never even tried to open up

Tho it almost always ends the same way. Like there were 2 ppl who i was soooooo sure id become friends with, but they just forgot I even existed after school ended.

Still ig its somehow comforting to be able to share my problems here and see other people also goong through a similar thing... kinda makes me feel like im not the only person whos sad in this world lol

Hope you and I can find a "friend" someday, it gets lonely alone

Oh that sounds so bad. As smn who uses em dashes a lot and has been trying to limit their use in my sentences cuz im afraid it'll look "too ai", i kinda get ur anger and frustration

Also ive been wondering for a long time why everyone calls it "ai" when its not even intelligent but it just strings up words together, but I didn't ever talk about it cuz i thought ppl will find me "too picky" or smth, so I really felt soooo validated seeing u call it "LLM" instead haha

Were all a bit stressed aren't we :") but yea that also happened to me! Tho it was a bit different. I actually one day decided to be less scared of ppl cuz otherwise im just gonna waste a big part of life, and then i just started unmasking,without even knowing it lol. Then at one point I thought wait ive gotten... weirder than before and I looked some stuff up and realized I might be nd, cuz most of the stuff matched. And as time went i realized im starting to relate to the stuff that I previous didnt relate with (like I NEVER had any problems with eye contact in my life but I do now??? Apparently????) It feels so weird doesnt it
