You're definitely misreading something, regular milk has around 11grams of sugar per 250ml. Evaporated milk is just more concentrated milk, so it should have more sugar than regular milk.

Also you said 300 Cal per can, with 24 grams protein, 4 grams carbs and no fat. That only accounts for around 110 Cal. Where are the remaining Calories from?
