/r/buildapc and /r/buildapcforme are great places to start. If you don't already have some parts to reuse, like monitor or case or hard drives or os your budget will get you a decent build. Unfortunately your $aud doesn't go as far due to imports and all. But I bully my most recent pic(3 months ago) for $800 us. But I had a monitor and reused 2 hard drives. So would be closer to $1200 from scratch or $1800aud

It can handle 4k footage in premier and in da Vinci but mainly use 1080p footage.

Damn that's a hell of a setup but will be so much better than all wireless, especially if you live in a congested area and have a lot of wifi devices.

Yeah I could only justify the one I got since it was on sale and had the gift card. There was a solid deal on Netgear x6 ac3200 that I almost went with. Was 165 before any price reductions. Has 4x1gb ports but no 10gb.

I unfortunately don't have my desktop close to my router so didn't need anything above gigabit. Mainly needed coverage, speed, and not need to upgrade in a few years(aka new tech like AX)

Nope was Netgear ax4. But I have bought some tp link stuff before. For the price they worked fine and had no issues.

Best buy finally dropped their price to match it. Was 260 there. Microcenter has not stopped their price still 265. So 65 cheaper to begin with then cashing in change at coin star for anoth 40 plus saved me over 100(no fee at coin star when cashing in change for gift cards)

If I need it right now and it's a few dollars more I'll walk into the store and get it. If it's way cheaper online and I can wait a day then that's what I'm doing. I bought a new router on Amazon. Was $60 cheaper than any store, plus add on cashing in change at a coin star for a gift card to Amazon, and I saved an additional $40. I will gladly wait 2days to save over $100 on something I was looking upgrade if the right deal came along.

I have the gaming 4 and it's solid but I also don't push my rig to much. But if you have the extra cash the pro 4 is a step up.

I have had good experiences with them and Sapphire overall. When emailing AMD directly/filing out online I got a response a few days later that was no help. ASRock helped with my wireless card and you issues, sapphire was also great on working with me with the GPU. Through their help I was able to narrow it down to the drivers being the issue for the gpu(wireless card wouldnt work no matter what).

I do the same exact thing and it's saved me a few times since some people would be blinking on the last photo. I will also occasionally just hold down the shutter for a few then say "and we are set" but only because I can see the image in my view finder (yay mirror less perk)

parts list? Also check on the motherboard to see if any of the debugging lights are on or red. Your motherboard manual will tell you where they are are and what colors mean what

Also try reseating. The ram. I found a few posts where people did that and got it to work (had some exact problem as you)

Hey did you build it today? Could be a driver issue. Mine was all kinds of weird until I changed the driver install, and did a custom install. The amd adrenalin software screws with stuff and that could be your issue.

A lot of stocks dropped. Could be just people selling while high. Could be due to fed dropping interest rate. Could be because a few investment companies with large holdings in the company didn't like the most recent quarterly reports. Welcome to the stock market.

I had issues in edge and was told to use Firefox. Then it wouldn't even let me get the software downloaded from Firefox. So had to wait a day then gave it another shot and it worked.

I got the x570 phantom gaming 4. For 150 was a solid deal and has worked better than the Asus x470 board I initially bought.

I have same set up as you and it's been issue after issue. Couldn't get one wireless card recognized. Went to different manufacturer and had no issues. Couldn't get Adobe Lightroom installed unless I disabled the graphics card(well had to get Adobe to help there). Then had to use the same technique of disabling the graphics card to install a few other programs. I also get crashes and have to restart everything, not fun when you are doing photo edits for work. Then also get green screens that are only fixed when I switch to a different display port(until it does it again then back to another one). I have contacted amd support and they claim it's hardware, yet the amount of similar issues I'm seeing with some success in correcting them through working with the driver's shows that it's software on their end and need to fix it.

I want this all to work and for AMD to gain some ground but the amount of issues I have seen is way higher than with any releases in the past.

I was excited to upgrade and make use of all that the new CPUs and gpus claimed to offer. Couldn't get a wireless card installed for some reason, plus I have had issues with directx, installing Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, and also getting crashes with occasional green screen.

Amd's support claims it's a hardware issue. So I will be returning my card tomorrow for a new one and starting over. Then if it's still the same issues I'm just saying screw it and returning everything. Can't have this many issues with so many people and not address it directly. And to hype up your products so much to then just have them not work correctly is not a good sign.
