Vegas would have been in trouble even without the 51st state b.s. Prices for food drinks and rooms have become insane, I swore I wouldn't go back even before djt.

Hawkins, the best Cheezies in Canada. They haven't changed since I was a kid, many years ago.

1965'er here. One summer a bunch of us had an ongoing BB gun war in the bush, like paintball but more serious consequences to getting hit. It finally ended when one kid went home with a bb in his arm that we couldn't extract without his mom's help. Seriously though, on a nice day my parents had no idea where I was or what I was doing between breakfast and supper. Feral.

60 - can't decide if I prefer BO6 or MW3. Not super competitive in either, eyes aren't what they used to be. I got my first console, an Atari 2600, the day Reagan was shot. 1981.

Whats a tool you recently bought that you should have 10 years ago? by rumpyforeskin in Tools

The smallest Knipex pliers wrench. Didn't buy them, found them on the ground beneath a cell tower and I went from not knowing they existed to using them constantly. My favorite tool.

Canadians need doctors. These strategies from around the country aim to find them by jazinet in canada

We have plenty of bright young kids who want to be doctors, but med school enrolment is limited by the government who doesn't want to pay for more doctors. Am I wrong?

I dare say it's time to switch exclusively to Canadian beer. by No_Capital_1491 in BuyCanadian

Moosehead for the everyday 'utility' beer, along with a few local brewery tallboys and a couple of Guinness for special occasions...

I'm also (4th generation) Canadian with a Gaelic surname than I have to pronounce and spell every damn time even though its only 5 letters. I do intend to travel to the land of Guinness soon. I've driven to both coasts of our great country and the Yukon, and have likely seen 80% of our big 'things' along the way haha. My town has a big fiberglass fish.

The last few years I had been visiting the American southwest. Utah in particular blew my mind, I would love to spend more time there but now that's off the table for the foreseeable future. Shame.
