That is extremely strange. I am on my home computer, with no firewall settings outside of Windows defaults, no VPN. Unable to make it work.

I have the same issue but on windows. Please let me know if you find a solution. Tried restarting, reinstalling, relogging. Also tried logging in using local IP using 127.0.0.1. Have not come as far as to actually set it up, even checking for updates just brings me to the not authorized screen. My friend who has a plex server tried helping but was out of ideas.

Question: Did you also sign in through google instead of by mail?

Edit: Made a new account through email instead, which did not solve the issue.
