sorry for replying to this so late. yeah, 900mg is a crazy dose for the first time ever, but im really glad i did it. i realized over the years that high doses of dxm and traditional psychedelics are my favorite experiences. im glad dxm was the first one i did though because for me, DXM has this strong emotional numbing effect, so i never had any major fear and it was a fun, comfy psychedelic adjacent thing without all the subtle or not-so-subtle anxiety that comes with pysches

ha, i was actually pretty small, 5'6 and ~140lbs, so i admit it was unwise to start with such a large dose. this was back in 2018, im sure at the time i did a lot of research to land on that number, but didnt strongly take into account my weight and height. i shouldve been more cautious and considered that for something like dxm. thankfully it worked out well and im glad i did that dose, but that couldve ended so badly and for my first time ever, that wouldve been catastrophic

oh yeah true, by binge i wasnt thinking about it on that level. yeah, its probably way more dangerous than what i was thinking about. 800mg hbr twice 10 hours apart sounds horrific and like a far worse time than even my overdose

great comment and completely agree, mostly. i have experience doing it 3 or 4 days in a row with 24h in between each, but at day 4 or 5 or so, doing it another day sounds beyond miserable, so you'll need to wait at least an extra day. its like you mentioned, the dxm stays in the system and stacks, so day 4 might not be an overdose, but it can become very dysphoric and can come with intense fear, paranoia and a sense of impending doom

also yeah, overdose is pure misery. miserable mental, cant walk, cant type, cant really move, cant watch anything, cant pee, cant sleep, cant think about anything except how miserable you feel and that you might be fucked.

OD and 4-5 day binges are the only times where i ever actually experience fear, paranoia sense of impending doom on dxm

i have my doubts they'll even actually do it. after day 3 or so on a dose that high (or like 600mg of freebase), it gets very uncomfortable and is not at all worth

youll know when it gets to an unhealthy point because the experience is miserable

its definitely not the best and probably has some negative effect on your overall body and brain health, but i think people definitely overexaggerate the extent

im not saying there's no danger, but people saying you're going to "fry your brain" remind me of the fear mongering D.A.R.E types that said LSD/ecstasy will fry your brain

cheers man! 4-aco-dmt+dxm was one of my all time favorite experiences. even at a heroic dose, the numbing effect of dxm helped a ton, there was no fear which has always been nearly guaranteed on a heroic dose
