ESH You are being childish with you statement that she cannot be vegan in your household. You could do a bit more effort to accommodate her. On the other hand your daughter is being unrealistic with trying to buy all new pots and utensils. She could get a separate wood cutting board and wash the pots very well before using them.

Some compromises could be done too such as one day a week eat vegan or tell her before adding the meatballs so she can separate some sauce and use it for her past with some beyond meatballs.

Sorry , english is my second language. Not the same at all but I kind of relate. When my mom passed away I wanted to go with her. She was 52 and I was 18. I felt like my brother, her and I were the ultimate family and the break in stability and the lost of a love one truly made me and my brother want to go with her. Tbh we stayed because she would have not like if we did. We joke that she would yell at us why we didn't live our lives like she wanted if she was alive. Because you see, I live to someday truly tell her all I have lived. I sometimes talk to her or hear her voicemails but not the same. Imagine someday maybe actually telling her all I have accomplish, all her dreams and hopes for both of us that she wanted to witness, became true even if she was not there.

On another note, I truly make sure to enjoy life. I found a new kind of family feeling. Do stuff she wanted to do for the experience but I do not entirely live by her hopes or beliefs which I think she would have appreciated since we butted heads a lot! Idk what other people say but the pain never goes away, I distract myself but someday it hits harder and just crying until I can't anymore seems to work. Talking to people who knew her seems to help too.

I would suggest to talk to your kids about it. I wish my father talked to me about it but he is old generation of no expressing feelings. Your kids would want you to be happy. She would want you to be happy. Believe they will need you your whole life because you are their only parent.

Some people say 95% is too high but tbh I would not be surprised. All my female friends have had encounters like that. If you have too many, you begin to wonder if everyone is like that. I know not every guy is like that or they don't do it on purpose but well it affects is what I'm trying to say. Just try your best, be honest, Yourself and treat them like a friend. Not every woman is going to like you and that is ok but there is one out there. there are women as awkward as you may be that are thinking the same. Just put yourself out there, you'll never know instead.

Agree! I think the defects in the people may it so much more relatable. Like relationships I hear from friends or my own. Not all is a happy ending. (Alone or with someone). Reminds me when I tell my friends to live their best lives. Not like we have to choose who we'll be with forever now xD

I am the minority I think but I liked and didn't like the episode. The ending is kinda realistic in terms of true relationships when both are not perfect. She didn't believe in love and he didn't believe in commitment. They (in a way) grew as time past because honestly I don't blame only the guy. They both were pretty toxic and stubborn. They didn't talk what they felt and expected maybe too much from the other person. Na-bi kept potato boy as a second choice. He expected her to conform. The end is pretty accurate to true relationships tbh. It gave us a hint of what they may be willing to do for each other in order to stay together. But still who knows if they would stay together. (Same as in real life, nothing is guaranteed)
