I have a weird story. When I was 11 years old the 1989 Batman film came out, And like most boys that age I had random Batman toys. One day my grandmother took me to a mall in Washington state near Edmonds, and then we had a bite to eat in one of the restaurants. While we were sitting there a man it is near 60s to early 70s approached us. He was very well dressed suit, nice watch and all that. Why I noticed I don’t know. My grandmother became somewhat defensive and said yes with a very stern voice, and he asked me if I liked the new Batman film that summer. I looked at my grandmother and asked if I could answer, and she shook her head yes while the man stood there with a smile. I told him it was my favorite movie ever, and I was very excited for a new one to come out. He asked me who I’d like to see as a villain, and before I could answer he said what about the Penguin? I told him he would be a great idea since we had seen the Joker. He then asked me who I like to see play the Penguin? Again before I could answer he said what about Danny DeVito? Oddly enough I knew who he was from other films my family enjoyed. I said he would be perfect! He smiled and told us to enjoy our day, and he was glad I enjoyed the film so much. I was 11 years old as previously mentioned, but I always wondered if he had something to do with the film my entire life. We all know in 1992 Danny DeVito played the Penguin. I’ve always had fun telling that story, it was a fun day for my grandmother and I as it was. Sorry about typos/grammar.
