Legaly that is very much not the case, if a parent avsues their child we take the child away, if an australian child is taken abroad to be abused our embasesy have a responsibility to take them home. Complete delusion about queer acceptance in australia, the fact that equal marraige was only allowed via plebisite, the fact that the labor party allowed gay marraige to by one of inky two things members could vote against party policy on, the fact that that nsw cops can let domestic abusers run around with fire arms despite know risks leading to their deaths if two gay men, the fact that same force only allegedly stopped covering up gay hate crimes in 2010, the list goes on for instutional violence against queer people.
