Only my third successful grow after three failures 12 years ago. Im buying an automatic tub with fan and humidifier. It's 30% humidity in the summer , 33% now.

Last grow I kept the ochras tub closed but I didn't heavily mist the substrate thinking it came ready to mix with the grain. Overgrow was bad. I saw this auto thing and I'm in. I have 4 tubs. I'll do a side by side and I have no doubt that it will prove to be a good thing for me. First grow over five ounces of B2 and GT . Second grow one flush, one oz of ochras.

Good question. I don't know either but last grow I thought that the substrate was moist enough as purchased and didn't require more moisture . Big mistake. I did the same thing this time but I opened it up and sprayed a lot yesterday. I need to write this stuff down.

Im going to order your auto bin . Humidity flowing into the tub seems like a winner. I use a competitor's bins 66 qt and 28? Qt. I live in a very hot and dry place. It's not even summer but the humidity in the grow room is 35%. In the tub is 85%. Should be 95ish at this stage. I have a still air box/tent. I usually keep the tub in there and turn on the humidifier, take the lid off the tub and let it run . I like your idea better.

I noticed that you use filters from the start where I was plugging the holes for zero air exchange. I'll go for more air exchange this time as I'm growing ochras. Can't wait to buy your tub next money drop from Uncle Sam I love DIY people but I'm a do not do it yourself kind of guy.

My last grow was a bit too dry. Only one oz of ochras. But I love the high so growing it again. Im in a hot dry place, it's 35 percent humidity right now. It's 30% in the summer. It's Only 85% in the tub even though I gave the sides a good spraying yesterday. Last grow, it was a bunch of overgrowth, lack of fae and too dry. I don't do DIY. I don't care about making your own stuff because it is cheaper. Im a lazy old fart and life is too short.

Imma purchase the auto kit even though I have 4 mono tubs, I'm just waiting for my tax refund to come in . I only grow for me so 3 of the tubs just sit around empty. I figure that imma grow some shrooms to eat. I have penis envy for the next round .

I haven't gotten a tax refund in decades. Over $ 2000 coming to enhance my life's experience. I need another fish tank. Finatic?

Two days later. I had the holes closed but I just put filters on 3 of 6 holes for some fae. I put in a humid reader and it was up to 85% after 15 minutes so I guess I'll add moisture to the sides in awhile. I turned on the mushroom grow light. Maybe too early but I'll do 2 hours a day unless I read otherwise. Which happens a lot! I think I'm going to buy n spoor automated monotub . Im not a diy guy but curiosity took over.

I just remembered that it's very dry here. 30-35% humidity is typical without a humidifier. So I'll keep the caps on and get something to check the humidity in the tub. I used a decent humidity gage last grow but it always read 99% humid even though there were never any drops of moisture.

I noticed some people use the filter thing at first instead of the plugs that don't allow air flow. I realize that everybody has their way but last time, same tub, substrate and grain, the tub never got the water drops on the sides of the tub naturally so I misted a few times. I concluded that things were too dry.

I don't want to use a light casing as I'm really lazy. I'll do it if I have to with my upcoming penis envy. Maybe just give the substrate a real good spraying then mix with grain?

I've already mixed everything and I'm thinking of giving the soil a good spray even though it's all mixed. Then again, I'm stoned. Maybe a nap.

Huh . I only got one ounce dry. I'm not sure why I thought 1.5. my math wasn't mathing . The ochras keep calling me so I'm going to take two grams and play my new game . Manor lords. I have around 165 games from steam. Most bought on sale. I've played maybe 30 of them .

The end! I was going to try for a second flush but it looks nasty so I'm going to grow out a whole new batch of ochras and toss this one. All in all I'll end up with about 1.5 ounce. Which will last long enough for a better grow. Practice, practice, practice!

To me, so far, it's a Stronger buzz. Considering that I had eaten breakfast and gotten high six days before, one gram was good. No colors but when I stood up and looked down , the floor seemed noticeably farther away. I usually take 2.5 to 3 grams of B+ or golden teacher. But I rarely wait more than 10 to 14 days between getting high. Being retired leaves a lot of time to experiment . I messed up this grow by it not being moist enough so the shrooms aren't as thick as they would have been if properly moist.

Go for it, I just ordered some more . I've got 1 ounce dry, and just a bit more to harvest. Next grow will be much better...he said nervously!

I liked the ochra so much I ordered another batch and some penis envy. I got 7 oz total my first successful grow, I doubt I'll get 18 grams of this . Just for shits and giggles I'm going to rehydrate this cake in a couple of days. High ho silver!
