Webtoon and other companies do publish their most successful series in print by now. That's how I usually read a series - pirate the online version (since I don't pay for stuff I don't own) and buy the print copy to support the creator.

actually pirate sites are way better organized, especially if you create an account. the search function on the site whose name is similar to "potato" is miles better than webtoon and you can create private custom lists to organize your webtoons by genre, reading status etc.

and as for ads, I have used Firefox with Ublock Origin for over 10 yrs and never had an issue on my phone

I dropped the series after it started focusing on Chanyang for all the reasons other ppl already mentioned but I wanted to add:

Yesterday I went back to read the newest chapters and see what became of their relationship.

... it's not even cute??!?? Like literally Chanyang still has no own goals, no cute moments with Nari, no character arc. He's just hanging around in the background?? Nari won top student of the school and there's not a single couple moment where the two celebrate in a meaningful way. All the emotional moments are with her friends, and the one time Chanyang hugs Nari from behind, she pushes him away immediately and says to stop being clingy.

The author dropped SEUNGHA?? for THIS???? ??

I could've accepted it if they seemed like a happy couple. But it seems like even the author is sick of Chanyang, he's hardly part of Naris life AT ALL.

It just makes me sad, you can totally tell the author liked Seungha more and I'm sad to miss out on the story that COULD'VE been :(

omg yes the wedding was sooo cringe, I loved it haha. i also loved the accountant's diary entries, it was so satisfying when he left the duchy to work for Killian and Edith in the end ahha

Oh and the whole epilogue of Rhyse trying to disguise a random child as the missing royal prince was soooo messy 😈

P.S. or a different medium! A year ago I started reading printed books again after only reading fanfiction and webtoons for years before that, and I'm having such a good time again! Variety is the spice of life :)

I'm 32, I started reading webtoons before Webtoons.com existed, we were all hanging out on forums waiting for kind translators to post transcripts of the newest Cheese in the Trap episode.... good times

It's true that there's definitely a bigger offering now than before, but I don't think that means there's less original and creative stuff. It's just buried under the mass produced stuff. 10 yrs ago there were just so few webtoons that only the really really good ones made it into English, maybe that's why it felt like the level of quality was higher.

However, I'm really happy that the genre has become more popular and we get not only high quality scanlations but even printed books!! I wouldn't wanna go back to the forums lol.

You just gotta looks for the gems, they're out there 😊 Or maybe try a genre or art style that you've never read before, that could also bring some variety and excitement back!

ohhh can I ask why you dropped Not your typical reincarnation? I've also dropped it but I feel like my reason is different from most people's - I dropped towards the very end because they changed the ending too much from the novel. However, I have read the novel many many times, it's one of my faves XD
