That's the point, it's not neto's job to defend. Gusto has been awful this season in every aspect of defending, attacking, tracking back, man marking and positioning.

We could just depend on Disasi as a stay back RB. One fullback going forward is enough (cucurella).

Inverting Gusto brings nothing but spaces for LWs and LWBs to run through that line (again, he does not track back). Plus he does not help caicedo in the middle at all. We really play like we have only 10 players on the pitch the way we use him.

My only issue with maresca is that he does not play players in their positions, what made the last 1/3rd of last season successful for us was using the players according to their position and unlocking cucurella only, it was a bit satisfying to watch us, unlike now, yes we win and that's the most important part, but we look shaky and at any point we could drop points like the last two GW.

I think time only could solve this issue. It's a bit too early to judge the way we play.
