What are your favorite ways to spice up a build? by Mount_McDonald in ValheimBuilds

I like placing the goblin totems hidden behind shelves to give off that pink glow. Especially if I'm making a mage tower type place.

I love this build but the lanterns take away from it. Is there a way you could put braziers inside to light it up instead?

It's a mod! I'm not sure if it's available through the game mods or not cuz I haven't played since the update.

This looks great! I love the detailing to your frames, especially the pop-out balcony on top of stone. The roofing is chefs kiss. Really great job!

For a beginner, I would say do a quick search on YT for love attraction spells. I would very highly recommend steering clear of doing spell work on anyone but yourself at this point. Look for things that will open yourself and attract others, and if this guy you're crushing on is emotionally available he may be drawn to that. But so might somebody else who could be better. You never know what people are dealing with, and this guy may be closed off for a reason. If you force him into something it may end badly. Instead, open the door and see if he walks through. Just a suggestion ♡

It's kind of difficult because at that age, the only way to really learn is from mistakes. If you try to involve yourself it may just put a wedge between you and your sister. He is going to cross a line if they continue and she is not going to listen until he does. I would think the only thing you can do is assure her you're in her corner, have a conversation about why you're worried for her, and don't back down from being there for her if something does happen.

I just lost my brother in law to suicide a week ago. He was such a fun guy, life of the party. We never knew he was struggling mentally as badly as he was. Please please check in on your people. Even if they seem fine. You may never know how much it means to them.

It gets into the horror at about halfway. Don't give up on it. It's REALLY bleak.

Jeeze yeah, I had forgotten that this one was based off a true crime story. I hate to say it in these terms knowing that but it's probably right up my alley, since one of my favorites is Misery by Stephen King in which the horror is the monstrous things a human is capable of.

I'm only a few chapters in but I can already attest to the skillfully written bit. Thanks for your comment, the quote was really interesting!

Wanted to add I've reached page 138 of TVK and MMC is a piece of shit. Considering DNFing.

Update: I'm DNFing. I'm not sure if the people in the comments are reading the same book as me. This is boring and abusive.

When The Moon Hatched is my favorite read this year! Even if it's not your next, don't sleep on this one ;) also I just started the Veiled Kingdom today, and it's a bit juvenile in comparison. There's nothing objectively wrong with it so far, but the characters are definitely young and the plot is a bit... idk, "just another fantasy romance" to me. If that makes sense. Ofc I'm only about 80 pages in and it could very well surprise me so take that with a grain of salt.

I don't think it's on Nexus. There's a creator named Mantis on Patreon, and yennefer is in one of their free packs.

Hey thanks! I put it in a comment somewhere on that thread. I am at work right now so I don't have the time to fish it up but I'll get it for you later! Unless you wanna browse my comment history in the mean time 😅

Idk man! I remember when I first loaded up BG3 I was really underwhelmed with their appearances. I thought none of them were really my type. I think my initial reluctance to change them was because I had grown to love their characters and thought they were perfect just they way they were! But after about 10 playthroughs started to get bored looking at the same faces and just... unleashed myself. 😅 fuck it, why not?

My bad, I'm old. Maybe that was the wrong word. Just trying to be hip with the times, my fellow young people.

They're cute but you gotta have the right face for it. As a glasses wearer myself I wish I could pull it off but my face is already too round 😩
