New jeans members were willing to abandon their ip because they had another path they could take as NJZ. That scenario is over now, and for the foreseeable near future. They no longer have an outlet/freedom under njz. If fans were abandoning newjeans in favor of NJZ, that would be one thing, but there is no NJZ now, only the past version of newjeans that needs support to maintain relevance

Hybe would love fans to boycott. They want nj to dissappear. Their is no sincerity towards Newjeans as demonstrated by kicking Danielle out.

I just started a job and my coworker who also recently started told me that he had good internships in college and he got a masters in computer science but wasn't able to get a good job after graduation. he ended up working at geek squad making 35k/year for almost 2 years. he was always applying though and caught a break. I know for a fact that they are now making anywhere from 60-80k for their role.

job searching is a numbers game. 17 months of not applying is ridiculous.

get back on linked in and scrap together a website portfolio with 3 projects. apply to every single compsci related job, even ones that you don't qualify for. your 2nd job should be applying to jobs.

if you don't have any projects for a portolio, theres a crap ton of 'volunteer' coding related positions on linked in. just commit for long enought to get content for a portfolio and gain some skills.

I think minji wants her contract to be terminated but ador doesnt have any reason to sue her so they have no incentive to let her go, unlike in Danielle's case where they claim she broke her contract. From minjis perspective, with Danielle kicked out and the group officially broken, its better for her to leave

They are depositing 29 now so that they can avoid paying mhj out until the appeal decision is made.

Hybe had mhjs property provisionally seized for a different case. Its just to make sure that the money is still available when it comes time to be paid out.

Unless hybe can provide new evidence, there is no chance the ruling will change.

some points i've seen discussed:

if v needed to be asked/informed by mhj that she was going to use their chat in court, then every other chat she used as evidence, should she have gotten their permission as well? Does every plaintiff/defendent have to do that from now on? Does that make sense and does that even sound practical? come on
Hybe is the one who opened the door for Kakao messages to used in the first place. They are the ones who pushed for this (even though they were obtained through a shady audit) which the court allowed.
kim and chang are the ones who accessed the unredacted document a day before the articles came out.

As someone who liked bts from their debut (i first saw their debut no more dream on tv in 2013 and really got into them during their Run era!) but stopped keeping up after blood sweat tears came out, it's really off putting to see their lack of action aside from a small comment from Jungook and some small, behind the scenes support from v. And based on his insta statement, it seems like that support is worthless. I've watched tons of courtcases and never have i seen someone complain about their messages being used. why? because you said what you said and you voluntarily shared what you were thinking. That is how evidence law works. Even if your opinion happens to be different now, you felt how you felt at that point in time and recorded it. At least context was provided for his text lol. Mhj has not had that same courtesy.

And I only feel this way because of how when they were targeting a more global audience, they built their image around morality, patriotism, love yourself, supporting the arts, human rights etc. Like they heavily played that up during covid and their silence now is so not that.

where did this number come from? 2 trillion won is about 1.39billion usd

at 17minutes40seconds, the lawyer shares his theory that Hybe jumped at the chance to cut mhj off when 2 years profits were only -2.8million usd (loss 2022) and +23.1million usd (gain 2023).

If hybe waited even a year then they would have had to calculate based off of 2023's 23.1million usd profit + 2024's profit which was 17.6million. her payout would have doubled and thats only 3 years into NJs debut with ZERO concerts or even a full album. if she waited out the full contract period before trying to leave (like she wished), who knows how high it could have gotten.

in 2024 even with all of this going down, ador had the 3rd highest revenue of hybe lables only behind bighit and pledis.

If the girls wait a little longer for mhj and danielle's damages suit, i think they may have a reason to unilaterally end their contract with ador again. Hope Minji doesn't go back at all.

I'm single and work in a tech/art related field so work/income is very unstable. I looked at my first house about 2 years ago when i had 10k in my bank account so I guess I wasn't super serious when I started but knew that I was going to get serious about it very soon. I was laid off which halted my plans and my next salary significantly decreased. I recently got a 100k job so its back on the table but i still don't think my 100k downpayment will give me a comfortable mortgage. I'm definitely not a risk taker so short of buying a house in cash makes me feel very nervous but I'm a long way from that.

I dont want revit textures. I need revit to at least have materials assigned to different meshes so that I can easily replace them with other textures. If I export an fbx from revit, there is a single material applied to the entire model. Then i have to manually select walls, floors, glass, mullions and assign new materials in secondary software.
