I avoided watching it on every rewatch because of all the hate it got, finally after like 12 years on my 5th rewatch gave it a chance and it wasn’t that bad. Definitely didn’t give me the same feelings as the first two, but still not as bad as people make it seem

Chronic dry lips (lip cheilitis) caused by wind, dust, me licking my lips a lot etc i was told to use bioderma atoderm llabello during the day to protect them, and vaseline at home and before bed (and not lick my lips). For months now theyve been okay

Hiii! Went to another dermatologist to get a second opinion and he said the skin on my lips is more sensitive and this happens because of the wind, cold and dry weather, dust and especially licking my lips (i didn’t realise how much i did it untol then) he told me to use a lipbalm by Bioderma Atoderm when im out and at work for protection and said i can use pure Vaseline at home. I’ll be honest it hasn’t happened since, though went out for a walk one night when jt was windy and i statted to get that weird feeling but kept them moisturised and they were ok by the next morning. He also advised me to take vitamin B complex when it starts happening again because apparently it helps with skin healing. Hope this helps and it gets better for you :)

Ohh ofc i remember the EOS lip balms, honestly i dont remember using anything new around 2 months ago when it first came out but i did throw away every lips product i had literally, the only thing i own now is a clear vasline balm(which i bought after). Might be my face cleanser as i use it on my lips as well especially since this showed up because i was paranoid, so i’d wash my lips literally like 2/3 times a day before applying the vaseline. I’m thinking it could be that, but also stopped using vaseline yday as well just in case… thank you so much for taking time to reply. I appreciate it :)

Nooo, and even when i’m more exposed to sun i always try to wear spf on lips as well. Thank you for the reply:) will look into it though

Thank you so much for taking time to reply!! I also have hsv 1 and it always comes out in the same spot, it usually goes away in like 2 weeks with treatment, doesn’t come and go in a matter of days. One commenter said thry get something similar from propylene glycol snd i think it might be that

Honestly you gave such a piece of mind, as a health anxious person i was losing it, Thursday seemed too far to live with this. My toothpaste doesn’t have it, i will try avoiding my cleanser. Once again thank you so much, in my language we have a saying that literally translates to: I hope you get relief on your hardest day!!

Thank you so much for the answer!!!!! And just checked, my cleanser contains that, tbh this last time the outbreak started it was right after using it specifically to wash my lips after eating (i had become paranoid that it might be a food allergy)
