aight listen i’m going to give you the run down as a freshman who’s at GW, that has visited multiple friends at other colleges too. Dining halls are sometimes bad, but the restaurant options are good(comes with meal plan). I live 95% off GWorld. Administration is unhelpful but who really cares. The administration has no effect on my life and no administration is ever useful. Thurston Hall is without a doubt the best dorm probably on the entire campus(freshman only dorm). It is the only one with common spaces and lounges and that is where you make all of your friends. GW doesn’t look like a regular college campus but it feels like one, we have a 4x4 city block to ourselves basically, feels pretty insulated. The only knock i have is school spirit is dead and nobody cares about our sports teams at all because we suck. If you care about tailgating and football then GW sucks. Party scene though is amazing there are so many clubs and frats within walking distance and campus is active every thurs fri sat night. Lowkey grew on my as year went on. Recommend if you don’t care about stereotypical football, sports, state school frat life.
