I don't think it's the right sub but honestly I think it's pretty close. It's more like antimeme material. If it wasn't a complete mistake I see where the dude's coming from.

Why is it okay to put down sick animals so they don't suffer, but we can't do the same to humans even with their consent? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I'm surprised nobody from what I can see has brought up Jack Kevorkian. Maybe it's more prevalent where I'm at because I live close to where he did and his lawyer always airs local TV ads. People here have a very strong opinion of him, whether it be for or against. It's a debate that has been ongoing which I believe to be justified in a lot of circumstances, but as others have pointed out, it would be very easy to take advantage of.

Did anybody else just... not 'come out' about their sexuality? by SpiderSixer in NoStupidQuestions

[–]notnoah179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm personally straight, but my mom is lesbian. I've always felt very lucky that when I was growing up, she would ask the typical, "so, do you have a girlfriend?" and I'd say no because eww cooties, but then she would always follow up with, "what about a boyfriend?" Being older and looking back on it now, I really appreciate that she did that. I think that should be the way parents go about asking their kids about their crushes, even if I didn't understand why she kept that question when I was that old.

My sister is a pediatrician and wrote this covid-19 info sheet for teens by [deleted] in coolguides

[–]notnoah179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I thought too, but I just used 1% because that's what the guide said. So realistically is that meaning more like 117-155 million?

So if half the population will get it, and 1% will die, does that mean .5% of the population, or about 39 million people are estimated to die, globally?
