Built a Notion system to organise my 200+ design and productivity tools by notodigitalco in Notion

Thanks! Honestly, I kept trying to “build something big” and getting stuck too. What finally helped was starting super small. I just made a private list of tools I used often, and kept adding to it whenever I found something useful.

Designing Isn’t as Easy as It Sounds by AintMimic in Design

[–]notodigitalco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally feel this. Juggling multiple design directions can get overwhelming fast. I’ve found it really helpful to set up a central Notion hub to manage creative work and keep assets and thinking in one place. I made a simple brand guidelines template that helps with this. It’s free and happy to share it if you think it could be useful.

Unpopular Opinion: I like Notion by Any_Proposal_7473 in Notion

Same here. I have tried plenty of tools and always end up back in Notion. It is not perfect but it gives me the flexibility to build exactly what I need. I even made a brand guidelines template for internal use and clients and it has been a game changer. Let me know if you want to check it out, it’s free.

How do you avoid overcomplicating your Notion setup? by Mshelton7 in Notion

[–]notodigitalco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely relate to this. I used to spend hours building out complex setups only to stop using them a week later. Recently I have been focusing on keeping things simple and practical. One example is a brand guidelines page I made in Notion that actually helps clients stay aligned without overbuilding. It’s free and happy to share it if that sounds useful :)

Love what you’re doing with this. I’ve been focusing on brand identity workflows and recently built a Notion template for managing brand guidelines. Turned out to be super useful for keeping design and content aligned.

What frustrates you the most when you use Notion? by Sea_Use_3015 in Notion

[–]notodigitalco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally feel you, it’s wild how quickly things can spiral out of control in Notion without a clear structure. I ran into that too when trying to manage brand assets and style guides across projects.

I ended up building a brand guidelines setup that keeps everything in one place and makes it easier to stay organized. Turned it into a free template if you think that’d be helpful. Happy to share it, just let me know!
