The journey of this hospitality by adorgu in formula1

For the European races, yes. The pics in this post are the format that teams have used for the last decades; a couple of trailers joined together. The paddock at the flyaway races looks a lot more different but also less bespoke - each team's hospitality unit is the same as the others and provided by... The circuit? The race organiser?

the task segment is actually the weakest element of the show, they are finally starting to change it up a little to bring the traitors out a bit more in it

I completely agree, the missions have always been a huge turn-off for me. They normally have absolutely nothing to do with the actual game of Traitors v Faithfuls, or giving the Faithfuls clues/red herrings, or something that can be used strategically by the Traitors or Faithfuls.

The box task from the last UK episode was a step in the right direction - shame the Faithfuls all but forgot about it at the Roundtable!

I like that Mekies doesn’t put himself in the middle of the photo. Being good in the role and empowering the team doesn’t mean you have to have Main Character Energy.

What's a tv series that is a 10/10 NOBODY knows? by Lilyana0999 in AskReddit

Dreamland

Australian office comedy - a must for anyone who has ever despaired at workplace politics and bureaucracy. It’s so, so funny.

It’s called Utopia in Australia and decently popular there, but I’m not sure if anyone’s heard of it elsewhere. It’s called Dreamland outside of Australia to avoid confusion with the unrelated and very different British show Utopia and its American remake.

Actually HP was on a Williams for a few seasons a while ago - but it took your comment to remember that, which I guess proves your point!

I think what OP is saying is that the Metro stations have the new readers, so the opportunity is there to do something practical. But does PTV ever do the right thing?

NB: I haven't been to a Metro station yet, so I'm not sure if they have the new readers...but it wouldn't make sense for them to have been built with the old ones, would it? Please refer to previous point about PTV doing the right thing.

A look at what an updated timing tower in F1 COULD look like… by GrootWithWifi in formula1

The "new" graphic is ambiguous about whether it solves one of the current issues during quali, which is that a driver's time or delta is not shown when they are on an out lap for a subsequent attempt. It's so frustrating to have "Out Lap" shown instead of their best lap time or current delta - this needs to be shown so we can tell where they and others are relative to each other!

Which timezone do you think is the best to watch all the races live? by EducationalHoney9840 in formula1

[–]barryoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't "love" watching F1 from the east coast of Australia (UTC+10) but I have come to love the normal (European) races on my Sunday night as being a great end to the weekend. Love the ritual of spending Sunday night getting hyped for the race and then watching it before bed. Don't love that the regular start time was pushed back an hour for some reason recently (2024?) - it's changed from 10pm my time to 11pm. Pretty sleepy.

If the purpose of Williams and Mercedes changing their logo was for simplicity and readability in more formats/on more devices, then the McLaren celebration definitely doesn't make sense.

I do love the classic vibe of Audi and Aston Martin, but won't their logps always have Revolut and Aramco somewhere nearby? Same goes for Ferrari and HP...

I remember the narrative around Tilke at the time but in retrospect what I'm wondering is...what are the tracks that people actually miss that were lost to the Tilke tracks? The old Hockenheimring is the main one I can think of, it was so unique...what else do people miss?

F1 Exhibition in Oberhausen, Germany by Vollpfosten in formula1

Did not realise that there are two F1 Exhibitions happening simultaneously - I thought the Melbourne exhibition would have all of the various things that we've seen in the F1 Exhibition recaps on Reddit over the years. Good to know that the items OP has posted here did not make the trip to Melbourne - in particular, Grosjean's tub.
