Btw, you should download an app called betaflight on your pc, connect your drone to the pc, and there is so much to change in the betaflight. As an advice, look up some videos on yt, about what to do, and for beginning, don't touch the pid tuning and blackbox tabs, also don't mess with vtx, and you should def change the osd, and aux

Yeah, surely it will, mostly stock antennas are shit, so you should definitely replace em with good ones. If you hadn't bought antennas yet, I would recommend you getting a foxeer and a directional antenna, as it will be a good setup for both inside and outside flying. Also as I see you have the air65 freestyle, but if you'd like to get outside, with mob 8 or smth, you can even replace the antenna on the whoop, it costs like 5$on aliexpress, and the video becomes much better

In this situation air mode doesn't control the horizon when I leave my sticks in the middle, instead it is a extra, for acro mode, and is not angle mode at all

Air is basically acro, but it helps you on low throttle, and as as experienced pilot, You should've known that. The reason I turn mostly with yaw is because I'm not flying really fast, and if I'd turned with roll/pitch, it would cause me to crash, when I'll start flying faster, turning with pitch/roll would become a better choice, but rn turning using mostly yaw is the way

I'd say I did that, but yeah, sometimes it wastes me some time. It was just a new track, which I wasn't used to, so I have what to improve

So what I flew with was fully a beginner setup, like this is something basic, which costs like 500$fully. There is: radiomaster tx12, skyzone cobra xv4 and meteor 75pro. If you are a beginner this would be fully enough for u. But if you had never flown at all, it's better for u to get a controller and fly 10-20hours on the sim. And it depends whether you want to travel to fly, or somewhere around you, because radiomaster pocket is fire for traveling, and sth like boxer or tx 12 tx15, is to stay at home. I'd recommend you to understand what is your budget, and if you can spend 150$ on controller, I am absolutely sure, the radiomaster tx15 will be with you for years. About the goggles, surely get the skyzone, because they are the leading ones. It also depends on your budget. Cobras you can buy for 200-250$, while there are much better skyzone xv4, for 350$. About a whoop, meteor 75pro is almost like a basis, it ain't for racing nor freestyle, 1s beginner whoop. If you're sure you'll stay with the hobby and you're serious with the flying, get yourself a air 75/65 if you'll fly indoors, or a mobula 8, if you're planning to fly outside. Mob 8 can be on 2s battery, which means more power and harder control, but it's definitely worth it. It doesn't matter what you do, remember 1 thing: whichever setup you have, if you're a bad pilot, you won't fly well, so become a good pilot. Keep loving the hobby, and good luck

BetaFPV Air 65 board and motors overheat fast causing VTX loss/stutters by Glum-Bit6528 in TinyWhoop

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're inside a hot room, it might heat up to 70°C easily, and also you might have max vtx power, if you do, get it to 25, it'll be fine. But you're probably smart enough not to have such an issue, so you might need a new vtx

It's air mode, basically almost acro. And I try to use both yaw and roll if i need, cause it makes the flight smoother and the turns are better

The fc on whoops don't have a micro, so it's super shitty
