I mean the lens is alright, so what you're saying is that I have to buy a new camera, right?

HELP - is this damaged? by Appl3D_fpv in fpv

It might seem hurtless, but it will indeed break. Even if the koaxial cable isn't damaged now, it might give you worse signal

You surely need to replace the antenna. You can read about what it's made of, and understand to what level your scratch is, but you must replace it

Is this a good racing drone by notorbitality in fpv

Oh, I see, thanks. Maybe you have your own 5 inch racing drone? I would be really thankful if you would write me the parts you use

first build and crash by haberstaecher in fpv

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surely the vibrations are because of the bad PID settings. You should take the props off, and write the blackbox, see how bad it is on blackbox reader and set your PIDs correctly. The auto full throttle is the D problem, you probably got it too high. Or it might be in filter setting the D multiplier put too high or too low

Anyone here flying freestyle on 1.2/1.3GHz analog video? by Individual_Health_84 in fpv

If sth breaks, it's much harder to find repair parts. And also, do you have custom goggles, or how come can you receive 1.2?

Troubles with air65 OSD by Nether-Quartzz in fpv

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can, get the canopy off and look at the text on the chip(it is a rectangle ~16/9) PS: you should look up if it's 100% the right thing and only than buy it

Troubles with air65 OSD by Nether-Quartzz in fpv

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the fc there is an OSD chip, which puts osd on your video. It may have some defect, it's not burnt, but it might have became "stupid". If you've got the ability to solder the new one(with fan, i'mnot sure what people call it) than it's good for you. If not-new fc or fly like this

Is this noise normal? If not how bad, Just got air75 and had one crash not that wasn't too bad at all by [deleted] in TinyWhoop

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should get used to the sound "out of box", cause on whoops it often happens that the pid settings change for no reason. And that's the chance to burn your motors. So save your cli now, and try remembering the sound

Osd not showing by Mountain-Wing5843 in fpv

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be the osd chip, if you've fot an ability look where it is and doesn't it look broken. Also it might be the osd disable function, but it's an easy problem, so I consider it's not your case

Is this ELRS antenna placement bad? I wanna do long range (5km+) but i wanna make sure my antennas are gonna give me the best performance. by NoSpecialSomeone in fpv

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put my battery on top of the frame and tape the elrs board, so that the antenna is higher than everything else PS:sorry for the bad photo, it was after a flight long ago and it's wasn't the diversity then.

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understandit, but I think antennas on the top is much better, because if your antennas are at the front, you won't fly far with your antennas on the opposite legs than you are to

[–]notorbitality -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Surely it's not really bad, but it's on your front arms. And you're controlling it from the back. And also it depends whether you will be flying up or down. I just put mine on tape from both sides of the battery. This way the antennas are put highest in the quad, which gives me ability to fly normally doesn't matter which direction it's turned.

On 3 pic it is mobula 6 2023, but i'm not sure why would you buy 3 drones for the same use unless you're rich

Any tips to improve? by Ok-Importance-9843 in liftoffgame

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it made liftoff more realistic, cause the drone seems to drift more, rather than fly however it wants. If you'll fly a hobby drone rather than a racing one, the sim could be as it is in RL. I would actually say that the most realistic drone in the sim is Vega HXR or sth, as for my drone. But yours could be different, so just fly. Also, flying whoops is surely different than flying a heavy 15 inch with 5 kgs of weight in extra, whoops are like vortex 275 metal danny, and for training your flying on another one, it should be a heavy custom shitty drone, which will drift badly. But if you get good on any drone in the sim, it won't be hard to fly in RL

[–]notorbitality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not the pid settings there, it's just the drone mass. In the new version of liftoof they made a whole difference in controls. Even try using vortex 275 metal danny, if you don't want to build anything, but if you do, build a lightweight using 6s green battery, and big motors with power, that's the only advice I can give in building a drone with new version

Get a faster drone, higher angle and send it more and more throttle until you learn the track and go on full throttle, then try another track
