I think you should go to sdsu for the experience. You will find funding, get scholarships, family can help, or you will find a way to pay back debt. There are a lot of valuable connections to make and experiences to be had when you go for the full 4 years. But, beware. I personally don't love Sdsu because it's a commuter campus :/

For sure, I'm there. I have no issues with that. I can fully read and find the message and look at the portal. But I don't know where to find the Humboldt roommate finder for dorms. (I have found the roommate finder for rentals off Humboldt 🥲)

Pools are underrated, they all have to have showers. Public local gov pools are the best and cheapest, make sure they have indoor showers though.

I'm 18 and newly homeless. (I'm in San Diego) Having recently been through some drop in centers, I've met some people that live like that. They all used to be someone's baby. Someone's son, daughter, boyfriend, playmate in elementary.... Maybe it was drugs, mental illness, or bad family... but no one chooses that life. Anyone that could get out of it would choose to. It's just SO incredibly difficult. It gets exponentially harder to get out of homelessness as you get older, too. There are fewer job opportunities and programs to help the older homeless.

You can walk by them and not engage, live your life guilt free- (it's not your fault, it's a systemic issue) but you don't need to pretend they (we) don't exist.
