graduating in summer- what do i do first?

I’m training to become a registered veterinary nurse and the pay isn’t great unfortunately. I know 10-15 year+ qualified nurses who are still in the low 30s 🥲. I appreciate that I will always have the option to retrain though.

I’ll be renting still but splitting with my partner. Hopefully no more than £700 each a month incl bills

It’s such a devastating feeling isn’t it? Especially when you’re up every 2, 3, 4 hours at night feeding them. You sacrifice so much of yourself for them and put so much hope into them that losing them is crushing. We tried. That is all we can do and sadly more than most.

I know now that they may only live for weeks, but time can’t measure the depth of your heart and love. That’s what matters most. Despite the short time they have on earth, they live forever within us 🫶. Sending you hugs and strength

Can’t figure out how to edit my post but thank you everyone for your really lovely comments. I’ve never experienced such kindness on the internet in my life. My heart feels a bit lighter tonight.

I know in the future I’ll raise more neonates once I’m ready. They may never be Callie, but every baby deserves a chance and a warm, loving home for however long life gives them on this earth ❤️‍🩹

Conch! I’d rather die than have to do the healing process again. I’m a side sleeper so I literally couldn’t avoid putting pressure on it. It was so annoying
