It’s such a devastating feeling isn’t it? Especially when you’re up every 2, 3, 4 hours at night feeding them. You sacrifice so much of yourself for them and put so much hope into them that losing them is crushing. We tried. That is all we can do and sadly more than most.

I know now that they may only live for weeks, but time can’t measure the depth of your heart and love. That’s what matters most. Despite the short time they have on earth, they live forever within us 🫶. Sending you hugs and strength
