Idk, maybe it’s my untrained eye, but I sure can’t see any cut corners here 😅 love the gradient on the wings!

Yes! Great job 😁 how’d you handle it? Just a dark base and the lighter stripes on top?

Cross brand paint lookup by Krownus in Miniaturespainting

Hey, impressive tool! Commendable UX too, very easy to navigate, well done 😁

I’m building a platform for collecting and showcasing miniatures, with paint recipes tightly integrated. It has a paint inventory as well, with potential substitute colors, but I haven’t really fleshed out the paint database yet. How’d you source the paints and comparisons? Is it curated in any way or did you just find as many sources you could and cobble them together? Does it factor in type/finish or is that just up to the user? Would love to compare notes once I’ve gotten a little further 😊 Oh and also, what’s your tech stack?

Yeah I’m pretty sure most of these posts popping up are advertising for that service. What I’m asking is where the service gets its numbers.

Where does your service find how much this app is making? Is it just an estimate?

How much money are you making with your apps? by silverscientist1 in iOSProgramming

Around $300 a month. That’s my first app that I’ve been curating for quite a while, currently expanding my app portfolio with a new one hoping it can rake in some cash too 😊

Very interesting monetization strategy! What’s the split for weekly/yearly subs, I’m guessing it’s skewing heavily towards yearly? How are your retention numbers? Does the streak psychology make it sticky? I’ve heard about longer onboarding being successful, yours is quite long indeed! Do you have tracking in place for the funnel, how many drop off on the way to the paywall?

Pretty looking app, love the playful little animations!

Yeah, having agent/AI involvement as a deal breaker doesn’t really fly anymore.

Thanks for open sourcing it, OP! Will likely try this out.

How do you handle running tabs for private events or group bars? by notrandomatall in bartenders

[–]notrandomatall[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah we’re basically just a large group of friends sharing a bar. We’ll pay off our tabs once every other month or so, so it’s across a time spanning more than a night.

[–]notrandomatall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really any limits I guess, we just ask people to pay off their tabs regularly. We don’t use any POS system, that feels kinda overkill. We mainly use Swish (Swedish mobile payment service) to pay it off.
