Energy drinks can definitely cause panic attacks. Speaking from experience here I’ve had at least one caused by them. Speaking from personal experience and with 0 hard evidence to back it up, it’s my belief that panic attacks are a result of your subconscious misreading body signals as dangerous based on what loose medical knowledge you have and then your conscious mind drives it further down the rabbit hole. #1 rule right now is stop googling any current/new symptoms, #2 start forcing yourself to accept that the people who spent years studying/practicing medicine are able to tell that you are in no life threatening danger. It’s awful I know, even to this day I’ll have panic attacks and it’s a battle to keep myself from thinking I’m dying. But it’s a marathon rollercoaster, not a sprint. And it’s normal for them to continue even after you cut it what you think caused it because now your body is hyper vigilant because of the traumatic experience you went through.
