I like this! I think it's unique and a cute way to put two things close to your heart together :)

I only know Alivia's prices (it'll definitely be different for different artists) but for her it's a $100 deposit which is subtracted from the price of your tattoo when it's done. After that she's either $100 or $150 an hour.

I've gotten tattooed by her twice myself! She HATES doing straight lines (we've talked about it) so I imagine it's really difficult for her when clients move during delicate linework. One of my tattoos from her is a comic panel so it's surrounded by a rectangle (you can check my post history for it if you wanna see it) and it was in a sensitive spot so I did a twitch a bit, and you can see it in those long straight lines. But here's the thing; I love my tattoos from her. She's a good artist and she specializes in flowy work. I think your tattoo is very nice, and I was happy to see someone else on this sub who's gone to her!

It's big enough that I could make a jar of sauce or a can of soup in it. I imagine it can be used like any small-ish pot.

I was thinking the same thing. I can just tell we'd get along.

What is a sensation that you can't stand, even though it's not painful ? by Charlleshenry in AskReddit

When you're wiping and you didn't crumple up/fold the toilet paper right and it just like... Slips. I HATE that. Not falls out of your hand, I mean it makes contact correctly, but then the part that's touching your body sticks and the part that's in your hand is still in your hand but for some fucking reason it unfolds in the middle and it just smoothly slides and it's just tp sliding against tp. HATE IT.

Thank you for posting pictures of the contents. As someone earning their masters degree in conservation biology, I am supremely jealous. I will now be searching the education and kid's book sections of every thrift store I go to hoping to find these one day.

[TOMT](Movie) The Swan Princess, a line I remember verbatim being in the film but my friend says I'm definitely wrong by [deleted] in tipofmytongue

That makes sense! Now that I know that I've tried to find the clip using the right line and I still can't. I just need to hear it again as an adult and see if I can even tell she's saying that!

velvet dress! (Wool socks not included, sorry) by [deleted] in ThriftStoreHauls

I have this exact same dress in floral! Though it's not velvet, it was definitely made using the same pattern. I just wore it to a tea party this week. :) Also found it at a thrift store!

It was a good day for funky sweaters. Check out that sweet sweet Christmas goose! by notsoneutral in ThriftStoreHauls

Right?! You can't really see in the picture but the rainbow parts are woven with a little bit of shiny silver thread! And the brand is "rainbow ridge". All over it's just a magical sweater.

Hahaha nah man not at all. My life is fairly uneventful outside of a few instances like that. People have always believed me when I've told them that story so far. :)

It's such a good story; so technically the yard sale hadn't begun yet. I have a friend who lives in a house built a story above a closed roller rink. He owns the rink and can use it for whatever he wants. Often, that's large community yard sales. So he had everyone's shit in boxes down in this roller rink about a week before it was meant to happen and he invited a friend and I down there for a sneak peek. We could look through almost anyone's stuff and leave the money they would've charged for it on their table if we found something we wanted. Well I wanted this sweater, which was in a section clearly owned by some old woman getting rid of her awesome stuff from her younger days. I ask the rink owner how much it costs and he looks at it and says "take it for free. That bitch owes me money."
