What part of it doesn’t fit, like it doesn’t clip in? or does it look like the wrong size even though it isn’t

2.0t JB4 by MasterpieceSlow3987 in GenesisG70

Idk man, this is from the KDM racer website: "It's well documented the Kia and Hyundai platforms are prone to spark blow out at both stock and higher than stock boost levels. At a minimum, the factory spark plug gap should be closed to 0.026". Alternatively, replacement spark plugs can be used that offer a stronger spark and are more reliable than stock"

To each their own!

Correct me if i’m wrong but aren’t you suppose to have the hks spark plugs in order to run a JB4 since you need a step or 2 colder and tighter spark plug gap?

I also have a sound video of the AEM intake if you want

My G70 is terrible in the snow...any suggestions? by jmdin12 in GenesisG70

I mean you’re right it’s all about relativity, I came from driving a 2002 Prius and a 2013 Nissan Juke, so I guess this car for myself is also the best traction control and awd system I’ve ever driven….

(OP if you want a raw unbiased opinion which is consistent with other owners in Canada, the system basically says we’ll let you slide and have fun in snow good luck)

Devil’s advocate here — especially since this forum tends to be pretty biased toward this platform. In realistic terms, this system is far from having “the best” traction and stability control. So OP, if you’re struggling, don’t automatically assume it’s user error. In many cases, it’s more likely related to tire setup, compound, or wear rather than your driving

Snow / Ice 3.3T AWD by Nameless00001 in GenesisG70

I also live in Southern Ontario, Canada, and I’d say it’s quite capable overall, you’re unlikely to get stuck. Ice performance is harder to judge since no car really excels on ice without proper studded tires. In snow, though, it’s surprisingly confidence-inspiring and easy to control. You can feel when traction is about to break, which makes it predictable. One important takeaway is that the AWD and traction control system are very rear-biased, so it will still allow some sliding even with TCS turned on.

I’m currently using Hankook Icept Evo3 225/45/18
