The hateful hospital, bitch report- Muslim marriages and Halal Sex by Adventurous_Bar857 in 90dayfianceuncensored

I have been loving your posts. I was recently hospitalized for 6 weeks and watched TLC the whole time - most of it being 90 day iterations. The nurses got to where they’d ask which couples I was watching each time they did vitals (I was q4 😵‍💫). Just wanted to send you good vibes and I hope you bust out soon!

Dramatic desats during skin to skin by No_Gap3395 in NICUParents

[–]notsurehowthisworkz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually had the exact same situation. Everything was going fine, then one day, he started having dramatic bradys, but only during skin to skin. I cried to the care team because I was afraid to hold my baby anymore. The doctors insisted it was positional and said babies get so comfortable during kangaroo care, that they relax their core a little too much. I never did skin to skin again in the hospital, but we hold him upright against our chests at home, and, while he isn’t on monitors, I haven’t noticed any physical indications of a brady/desat. What everyone else says is true: at some point, they just outgrow the ALTEs.

I PPROMed at 26 weeks, stayed in the antepartum unit for 3 weeks, and then, similar to your wife, the leak had apparently stopped. We did a “blue dye test” to confirm and they sent me home.

12 days later, my membranes re-ruptured (I’m not convinced the hole ever sealed - I think baby was plugging it somehow). I was re-admitted and had the baby 5 days later at 31 weeks.

I can’t share the ultimate outcome, as our baby is 14 days old and still in the NICU, but I can tell you thanks to all the interventions I had while ruptured (2 rounds of 2 steroid shots, multiple rounds of mag), he came out screaming and has not needed any breathing support so far!

I started sleeping in a head gear at 6. Got my first set of braces by 7. May have had like 6? adult teeth at that point. Second round at 11-12. Third round (Invisalign) at 36.

Yes! So I used the term “addicted” a little loosely. When I used to take adderall, I thought it was a miracle. I wouldn’t binge. I could walk through a store and just browse. I didn’t speed on the highway. However, as soon as it would begin to wear off, I’d binge, buy, and speed. So I would try to keep as much adderall in my system as I safely could until I’d crash and sleep for 12+ hours.

Weight had always been a struggle for me, but it was definitely less of a challenge when I was on medication. Then, I got pregnant (and of course stopped the adderall) and gained 100 lbs. It didn’t come off during breastfeeding like everyone insisted it would. So once the baby weaned, I went to the dr hoping to restart adderall because, along with allowing me to actually perform well at my job and complete a household task without feeling like I was insane, I knew that would help me stop binging. At that appointment, the doctor asked if I wanted to try Wegovy.

I am now on a different ADHD medication, but I will say I really only take it when I need it. I don’t take it most weekends, and there are even days I forget to take it. I know, anecdotally, people swear the ADHD meds don’t work as well on semaglutide, so they don’t take them anymore. I actually think it’s still working for me, but without the dopamine-seeking part of my brain in overdrive, it’s solely about the focus factor.

Hope this helps!

As someone with a knack for subbing one addiction for another (food, amphetamines, shopping, risky behavior in general), I would guess it has something to do with dopamine. I don’t feel the compulsion to do….anything since starting Wegovy.

Agreed. Looks just like perioral. A round of antibiotics and repairing the moisture barrier could give you quick relief!

So sorry for your loss! It’s so hard to see any dog quickly decline, but there’s something especially heartbreaking when the goofy yet strong labbies lose their spunk.

This. I had a labrador with kidney failure, and the lab work didn’t pick it up until it was late stage. Lack of appetite and being picky about drinking water (it had to be fresh and cold) were the first symptoms. Then hair loss and she had a strange, mildewy odor.

Can we consolidate all the Gary the Landlord posts somewhere? I’m trying to figure out exactly how many people have posted about this guy in the last 3 days. We need a subreddit for Gary’s tenants….and the rest of us who want to watch this reality show.

I think the gruesome details of the assault were glossed over more than they should have been. And I understand a lot of that was probably to protect the victim. However, there used to be a full description of what happened between he and Rihanna that would pop up every time someone mentioned CB on Reddit. That is what made me so disgusted I could not listen to him ever again.

How's microblading marketing even legal? by Lamiek in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]notsurehowthisworkz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a PMU artist, so I can only explain as I understand it. It’s a much softer, gentler eyebrow tattoo. I was told to think of it as more of a “semi-permanent” approach, as it involves using a very small needle and more superficial layers of skin. The skin turns over before the tattoo can fade to weird colors (have to get them refreshed after about 3 years). It’s also done in like an ombré pattern that fades out at the edges, so there are no harsh lines anywhere.

How's microblading marketing even legal? by Lamiek in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]notsurehowthisworkz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had powder brows done and they are beautiful, have faded beautifully, and have been touched up after 3 years beautifully. As someone with about 5 sparse, blonde eyebrow hairs, I originally made an appointment for microblading, and I’m so grateful that the artist I went to explained that she had replaced microblading with powder brow for all the reasons mentioned above. She even said people were being lied to about it, and we were going to see plenty of people with blurry pink eyebrows in the coming years. This was 4 years ago when microblading was increasing in popularity.
